Love Lost to the Passing Wind

Love Lost to the Passing Wind

"You know that's not what I meant," Alpha Ethan said. "But that's exactly how I understand it," I retorted. Looking at the he-wolf before me, I felt only an unbearable sense of unfamiliarity. I turned away and left without looking back. The wind along the way was biting. Shivering with cold, I walked until I reached the river at the border, a place where no one knew me. Only then did I dare to gasp heavily for air and brace myself against a tree trunk as I sank into a crouch.

Vows Lost in the Wind

Vows Lost in the Wind

"Shawn, happy New Year! No matter how far you go, you'll always be the closest person to me." It was Archie Crosby, the underprivileged young man I had sponsored for four years. I had brought him out of the remote mountains and got him into Sienna's company. My finger hovered over the reply box. Before I could respond, I received a notification about a new post on social media. I tapped on it without thinking. The video was only five seconds long. Sienna, who was supposed to be stuck at the office for overtime, was standing on the beach. The wind was howling, and the sparkler in her hand lit up her gentle profile.

Where The Autumn Wind Blows

Where The Autumn Wind Blows

Outside, the wind rattles the trees, shaking loose the first of the autumn leaves. Finally, Josh exhales and steps back. “Forget that for now, Ari,” he says, voice softer now. “It’s too early in the season for this.” I nod, holding my phone tight against my chest. As he leaves, closing the door behind him, saying nothing and everything all at once. I let the wind carry the weight of everything—the missing summers, the distance, the cracks forming between us, the unspoken promises. Autumn has begun, and everything feels like it’s falling. But maybe… just maybe… Some roots, some seasons, are strong enough to survive it.

Dear Enemy, You're My Mate

Dear Enemy, You're My Mate

Alice could be in danger. My connection with Finn makes my feet feather-light. I could run for days without getting tired. I inwardly giggle. 'I'm falling in love with the wind element!' Finn laughs. 'Oh, you've seen nothing yet! The possibilities of what we can achieve together are endless!' 'Now I'm curious! Name one amazing thing that a former master of the wind element has done!' 'Hm, this one guy created a tornado large enough to blow away an entire city he had an unpicked bone with—that was truly something.'

Tanya Barkhouse
I started reading it on another app and when authored moved to this app I followed solely for this novel. The development of the characters and storyline keeps you engaged. I look forward to finishing the novel but will be sad when it’s finished.

The author has a very vivid imagination. I couldn't stop reading until the finish. I will say I might make a couple changes to the story if I could but overall one of the most original and enjoyable books I've read on the platform.

Moonshadow: The Full Saga

Moonshadow: The Full Saga

The breeze eddied in front of her face. It did not caress. It did not slap. It just hovered, cool and implacable. “We carry news,” the wind said. “Not choices. But we’ve watched you, storm-wolf. Since the first night you screamed at the sky. Since you walked out alone instead of folding in.” Snow swirled around her in small, tight spirals, not enough to blind, enough to wrap her in a moving veil. “We saw you call cloud and crack earth,” it went on. “We saw you *turn back.* We saw you *heal.*”

The Last Thunder

The Last Thunder

They were only passing by each other, but Darrion was worked up already. “I can’t believe I hate him that much,” the blonde said. He needed to learn to control his emotions better. He sighed and tried walking slowly but surely to the end of the other chamber. He focused on the wind to help him calm down faster. Winds are carriers of information, and you would not know each information is important unless someone is looking for it. That is also why the windlets were taught to always listen to everything with open ears. Of course, not all of winds speak clearly, or important things. Sometimes they said something not very important, like their comment on his hair just a few minutes ago.

Wind, Rain, and the Years Between Us

Wind, Rain, and the Years Between Us

My wife Naomi Holden's phone was always on silent mode. Whenever I needed to reach her, the call never went through. My only option was to ask everyone around us, but when every single person gave a different answer, I already knew the truth. She was with him again, the frail man she had never been able to let go of. On our seventh anniversary, we had plans to meet at our usual spot for dinner. Three hours passed, and she still had not shown up. I stood on the street, burning with fever, dialing one number after another. My father picked up, his voice warm and unhurried. "Naomi just came by for dinner. Don't worry, I've got my eye on her for you." A friend working at her company lau

Blood Magic's Bond

Blood Magic's Bond

She said almost to herself. Calder cocked his head. “What do you mean?” “Well, if we had three, they might be able to attempt to Wind Walk.” She glanced up at her love to see a very confused look on his face. “Sorry, it was something I read once. Actually, it was in the same book I read about blood magic. It was a very complicated ritual from what I remember, and considering the source where I saw it, more than likely forbidden, but the parts all made sense with the purpose. Basically, an Air Sorcerer sends his sight along the wind, carried by two others. It allows their vision to travel somewhere else while their body stays there.”

The Six Elements

The Six Elements

CHAPTER X The Element of Wind Two more elements were left roaming around the land, the element of wind, and the element that gives you ability to go to places without moving, when you desire. The element of wind went a long way, but it didn’t leave the country. It went somewhere peaceful and loud at the same time. It went to the Big Easy. New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Shadow Beside The Moon

The Shadow Beside The Moon

She had her words, she had her stories, and she had him. Somewhere in the night, the wind picked up again, soft and gentle, but it didn’t feel threatening. It felt like a reminder that even after the darkest storms, there is always light, and always hope, and always the chance to begin again.
