Sacrificed to the Storm: A Love Blown Away

Sacrificed to the Storm: A Love Blown Away

I instantly pushed the couch and table against it, hoping it would hold for a while. After all that, I felt so utterly drained. Without trying to fight it, I slid down against the table in exhaustion. Although I was extremely tired, memories from the past kept flashing through my mind. The news had been warning for a while now that these few days would see a hurricane. Just a few days ago, I found out I was pregnant with a home test. I hadn't even set aside the time to celebrate before the extreme weather arrived. I had stocked up on essentials from the supermarket. Yet, they were ultimately taken away for someone else.

Protected by the Moon Goddess

Protected by the Moon Goddess

whispers Orchid. A wind blows and winds at the top of our hill. To the east, those storm clouds are darkening, growing into an ugly anvil-shaped steam tower, tendrils of rain spreading out and casting shadows across the landscape. Silent lightning flashes within the cloud. The storm will be upon us soon. “We're not going to get to the city today,” says Truk. “Not before the storm gets here. We need to find a place to sleep for the night and face this. "

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

They simply existed. Liora spent hours sitting on the flat stone in the center of the ruins, the place where she had found the journal. She held the book now, not reading it, just feeling its warmth. It was almost full. Their story was nearly written. She wondered how it would end. On the fourth morning, the weather broke. The grey sky unleashed a storm of sleet and freezing rain, turning the world into a miserable, slushy grey. It was the kind of weather that kept everyone indoors. For a little while, they were hidden by the storm itself.

Tamed By My Alpha Step Brother

Tamed By My Alpha Step Brother

Harper’s POV The storm hit MoonShine like the moon goddess herself was pissed off. Rain slammed against the windows of the old library, thunder cracking so loud it shook the shelves. I sat at the long wooden table, papers spread out in front of me, trying to focus even though the wind howled like it wanted to rip the roof off.

THE GIRL WHO'S DIFFERENT

THE GIRL WHO'S DIFFERENT

WARNING: THE STORY YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ HAS SOME DISTURBING SCENES THAT MIGHT NOT BE SUITABLE FOR SOME READERS. ALSO PEOPLE, PLACES, AND EVENTS IN THIS STORY ARE ALL FICTIONAL. It's a stormy night, the rain falls heavily, the strong wind blew around destroying everything that came in its path, it's almost impossible for anyone to be outside by this time, No one has ever seen a storm like this, it was different, ice fell from the sky, but yet there wasn't a single cold, the weather was pretty warm, strange right?

radioactive
I have read the first 3 chapters and it's kinda creepy, I was like what kind of girl is that XD. I'm giving you 5 stars because I feel you have potential, just needs a little correction. I love the humor, mystery, and thriller already. this is my kind of paranormal

Started to read this story. Had a hard time getting through the first part of it. There are many mistakes. It disrupts the flow. I'm sure it would be a good book however it definitely needs to be proofread and edited.

THE ALPHA’S QUIET TEMPTATION

THE ALPHA’S QUIET TEMPTATION

“But if this storm creates opportunities, I want to know about them. I want to be ready to act.” Outside, lightning flashed, illuminating the grounds in stark white light. Thunder followed immediately, loud enough to rattle the pavilion’s frame. Somewhere out there in that storm, Darren and Liora were stranded. And I silently vowed that whatever happened, I would make that bitch pay for every moment of attention she’d stolen from me. The rain fell harder. And I smiled.

After The Storm.

After The Storm.

She explained about the syllabus and about the previous lessons. Mrs.Smith explained, "So we have already completed our last chapter. Today we are going to start a new poem named, 'After the Storm' by William Wordsworth." Then looking at Daisy, Mrs. Smith ordered, " Daisy Miller, will you read the poem loudly so that rest of the class can hear?" Daisy replied obediently, "Yes, Mrs. Smith." Then she started reciting the poem, standing in her place, in her silvery voice. The poem sounded like a melodious song in her sweet voice.

I’ve even got their photographs I can send you.... you’re quite welcome I hang up the phone. I wonder when this Storm Cloud of mine will stop Raging? I turn to his voice, Fred is standing by the door leaning on the frame watching me while shaking his head. Not to worry my love, very soon the Raging Storm will pass and then there’d be the calm with blue skies and fresh breeze.
