Perfect Storm (English)

Perfect Storm (English)

Strong enough to endure all of their mistreatment. She opens the window and stares outside. It was a gray morning and the wind was rather chilly. Lauren decided to close the window as the weather doesn't look good. Thunder roared across the sky that made her flinch. Soon enough, the raindrops were heard. The rain starts pouring hard outside the house. It looks like the rain won't stop any time soon. She turns back to see her room again and begins cleaning her messy room. Her things were scattered on the floor. She sighed and shook her head as she recalled again what happened a while ago.

Weathering the Storm

Weathering the Storm

she asked with a smile. “Never better.” He said as he kissed her gently. “now let’s get home so we can move on to the next stage.” “I think that is the plan.” Deanna said as she looked at him, “Whatever comes next is going to be fine as we move on.” “The next part is the main part of the storm. We are just close to the eye wall.” Max said as he shut the door to the van and walked around. As he did Deanna thought to herself, they will just have to break the eye wall themselves.

DEOS

DEOS

That is no fun at all! On the outside of the Hive, the scenery becomes disastrous. As the rain falls, the heavy wind whips anything that it comes close to; there is no safe place to hide in. It has been the worst weather that came to earth, and the very first storm ever recorded- according to the DEOS, no other storm came to earth until this very time. Although the storm isn’t a threat to them, the current occurrence slows them that they can’t enter the Hive anymore and attack its people.

Haven: Rise of Luna

Haven: Rise of Luna

My emotions no longer interrupted the wind, this time it was steady, just as Grandmother told me it would be. As I grew the whirlwind I called on the water. The wind and the water whipped around Kayden, the outer bands hitting even his warriors behind us, causing them to stop fighting and focus on us instead. Within moments a hurricane was brewing inside Haven. Thunder crashed as I rolled in clouds and increased the wind.

Loathed by the Alpha

Loathed by the Alpha

Did he want Ria to come along with him? On the way to the cabin, I thought it's just another day of bad weather, but not. The wind began yowling louder before it transformed into a heavy storm. A shiver racked through my body. Once we entered into the warmth of our cabin, Aiden pulled away as my touch burned him. He stalked closer to the chair, slumping down. Meanwhile, I stared at the doors rattling against the wall, window glasses shaking with the intensity of the storm outside. The fireplace was not going to work, and the lights went off as well. Never in my life had I experienced something of this kind.

This was an excellent book, written well with an awesome storyline. I enjoyed it and the only thing that I didn’t like was the author’s commentary after each chapter it took away from this exciting book. Other than that great job author will look for more from you.

Really liked this book. It shows that our own perceived ideas about what we believe, can cause us to draw the wrong conclusion. If Rose hadn't switched places, she would have lost her true mate. Aiden's past corrupt his vision of what he could've had with Rose from the beginning.

Through The Storm

Through The Storm

The cloud swirled and drew closer to our group. Fifi and Nalu panicked and stayed close to us and the little island of Silisk’s dead skin. We could hear the others screaming and the metahumans rushing to the other’s side to protect them. Before the storm could make contact with any of us, the triton began to absorb the storm. Byron and I fought to keep ourselves from being overwhelmed with the force that we almost sunk where we stood. And then, finally, it was over. No longer was there any storm that kept us trapped. All we saw at that moment was clear skies.

Twin Alphas' abused mate

Twin Alphas' abused mate

This looming storm has been a constant presence over us like an executioner's axe, and I have had a dreadful sense of foreboding about it ever since I first felt its looming shadow in my vision. I'm aware of how selfish it is, but I need them with me now, more than ever. Hunter and a dozen or more of the Old Guard stand around me like an impenetrable wall of muscle, guiding me towards the convoy of SUV's. Even still, I struggle against the tears that I’m not strong enough to shed, because if I do I know I will fall apart. I watch, as Christian and Zander turn and bolt in opposite directions into the relentless rain and howling, hurricane winds.

The Pure

The Pure

“I’ll carry you.” With that I scooped her up and we walked back to the pack house. Storms POV I was in a daze. I didn’t remember getting back or the rest of the day. I just sat there staring into space. Diego had tried to talk to me a couple of times but I didn’t hear him couldn’t look anywhere but in one spot. I was all up in my head wondering and worrying. How were we going to defeat these guys? How big was their clan? How am I going to protect my children? If everything fails how much time will I be given with my children? This whole entire thing was absolutely crazy and absurd. I knew it was getting late I finally looked up from my spot to the window.

Her Secret Lycan Prince

Her Secret Lycan Prince

“She could talk to storms?” I nodded, amused at her surprise. The story was one I’d been told many times as a child, though with a different protagonist. "It was a very big secret, but she couldn’t let the storm damage her pack’s lands. She told the storm to find somewhere else to go." "Did it work?"

Ditching Her When the Storm Comes In

Ditching Her When the Storm Comes In

Today, I was going in to submit my resignation. Back then, Joyce was the reason I chose to stay in this city. I even refused to inherit my family's estate, severing ties with my parents completely. Three days ago, when the typhoon hit, I put my life on the line to pick Joyce up. However, she refused to come home with me. On the way back, the storm was raging, and debris struck my shoulder. I couldn't sleep that night from the pain. Then I saw Finley's Instagram post and told Joyce I was breaking up with her.
