SOUL'LESS

SOUL'LESS

Only if I had known my soul would have been sold for nothing, I would have ended it. The room hadn't changed a bit all these years. Same dark walls that made the room intimidating and the absolute perfection in the way it was organized just as its owner, hiding all that evil just barely underneath the surface, simmering and waiting for the perfect time to strike its prey. I repressed a shudder and took a seat waiting for him to notice my presence in the room. He was writing in a journal on the desk, I had always wondered what he wrote in there, the number of people he killed, or the latest mission he accomplished?

Lost Soul

Lost Soul

But to me, he was just a soulless devil. Do you remember the time when you were 11 and I was 9, we got so dirty when we played out in the rain in the garden? Dad called us inside and he told us to go clean ourselves up and he will take care of me? I grabbed your arm and told you please stay and you said it's fine, and you'll be back. Guess what? He took care of me real good. It was real slow like time stopped and I felt like my soul left my body and I was watching myself from the outside. Crying, soaking wet, and cold. He was oh so gentle, it was torture. I kept hoping, wishing, praying, and begging you will open the door of the bathroom and check in with me but you never came and my soul th

Strangers to Soulmates

he screamed at me. At that moment I felt like crumbling onto the floor and just dying, the insult was too much, the one thing I feared was happening, I told Nikki but she insisted on me coming here, to humiliate myself. “ Kenna please I’m sorry on his behalf, he believes that all the women in the world are after his money, and his ex-girlfriend has destroyed his belief in love and family, I will call you … please” Brian was by my side at once, holding me up from losing my balance.

He Claimed My Body, Not My Soul

He Claimed My Body, Not My Soul

Mating ceremony. The words struck Silas like a physical blow. He stood in the Healing House, the tin of burn salve clutched in his fist, his mind suddenly blank as fresh snow. Amara—his Amara, the shadow that had trailed his steps for four winters, silent and warm—was going to take another’s mark? Bind her soul to another’s under the Blood Oak? A strange hollowness opened in his chest. He couldn’t name the sensation. Relief, perhaps, that the persistent ache of her presence would finally cease. Or was it something sharper, something that tasted like blood and loss?

Bad x Bad: My Dear Hana

No, there is no such thing as a coincidence. Ahn Hana stares hard at the books in her hands. The title is the same, but the editions are different. She opens the older edition and flips the pages. He couldn’t follow the woman. Finally, he met the devil who asked him whether he would let his woman go with the grim reaper and let her reach salvation or take his help and bring the woman down to the darkness along with him. Ami?
This book is crazyyyyy!!! Like crazily gooodd!! Thriller/mystery along with romance, everything is perfectly balanced. Wt I really like about this book is the second male lead is not obsessively obsessed with her like typical novels. I also love the fact that she is a strong independent woman?

The Alpha’s Contract

The Alpha’s Contract

Aero and I mutter in unison “Everyone’s soul starts off as a small ball of light. It grows as the person grows, gradually taking shape of the person. Sometimes, it gets to a certain size and never grows anymore because a person is trapped in a cycle that they can’t get out of. Others, like those who have experienced levels of trauma, develop cracks. When the cracks meet, the soul breaks along with that person.” “How bad are hers?” “She should have broken long ago.” “Is that how the darkness got in?”

Absolutely love Taylor West’s writing with this novel! She does warn a person about the cliffhanger at the end which is nice; I do hope there is a follow-up/sequel to this novel as I have so many unanswered questions about the characters!

His Soul

His Soul

One of them was being unemotional and he couldn't care less if it made him someone with a heart of stone. But the self-betrayal of the nine-month time span displayed the result on him. He broke his own theory of living and his traitor mind caused him to hope, wish, and anticipate. He became numb when nine month's desires, aspirations, and expectations were crushed in just one event. His face was still hard and stoic but inside he was breaking. The impact of the big loss hit him like the fiery breath of a dragon. His heart was shattering in the tiniest pieces.
