Twisted Love
i remember telling her that i didn’t have many friends, and that most of the ones i did have were from my family, and family friends, and they were trying to make me bend to their family traditions.
she followed by saying she would be my friend, and she said it so happily. -all i could think is that her parents didn't tell her not to talk to strangers. she didn’t even know my name.
i just brushed it off, thinking that she was just trying to be nice because of what i said.
but when the festival was over, i ended up driving her home, and she asked for my number.
“we’re friends now, aren’t we?” she chuckled at my hesitant reaction. i didn’t think much of it because surely she wouldn’t call me.
