Stranger Things Snowball Dance Novels & Stories

As rain started to fall, I belatedly remembered how the weather forecast said it would get colder later in the night, and maybe even start to snow. Once it starts snowing in Atlanta, it never seems to stop. I used to dread winter, but Lucas would always wrap me in his coat several sizes larger than I was, keeping a warm blanket available in his car just for me. Looking back now, those moments of so-called happiness were never meant to last. As the rain poured harder, strands of hair stuck damply to my forehead, and my steps wavered almost to the point of collapse. I shook my head and let out a bitter laugh. How did my life end up like this?

I couldn’t help but to burst laughing and he chuckled back at me as we all made our way to the dance floor. We all danced together and as a group. Trevor introduced me to a couple friends barely hearing the words over the music I wasn’t sure I would remember them anyway. I was almost midnight. Trevor grabbed my wrist quickly and pulled me close and flush against him. Tingle erupted every where and my body heated in react to him. “My staff said that you would enjoy this.” He told me, his cheek almost touching mine and his breath fans it. “Enjoy what?” I asked, he let go over my wrist just as the DJ shouted, “End of summer in . . 5 , 4 , 3” Trevor smiled at me and all my friends were also shou

Then I put the stylus on the disc waiting for it to play when it did, I ran up to Snow screaming. We started dancing, motioning Venus to come to join us, she did scream all the words with us, spinning and jumping all around the dorm. “So I leave for not even 5 minutes and this is what happens.” We stopped dancing looking over to see Crystal leaning on the door frame and unsure if she should laugh or question our 5-year-old self’s. We gestured her to come to join us, but she shook her head in disapproval, ready to go to bed. I, Snow, and Venus inclined our heads chasing up to Crystal shoving her to the ground before she even reached her bed. We made a mountain over Crystal, almost suffocating

"You know you’re going to look breathtaking, right?" Heat rushed to my face before I could stop it. "Shut up." He laughed quietly, got into the truck, and drove off, the taillights fading down the long driveway. I stood there a moment longer, arms wrapped around myself against the chill, smiling despite everything. Tomorrow was the Snow Ball. Tomorrow we’d dance and pretend the world wasn’t falling apart.

I didn't know what it was. Only that with every passing hour, it grew heavier. (Clara's POV) The Moon Halo Ball was bright. Dressed-up young wolves everywhere—Alphas, Betas, Gammas—clustering in twos and threes to chat, dance, exchange contact information. Jennie had been pulled onto the floor for a third dance by a young Beta from Silver Claw, flashing me an "OK" sign before disappearing into the crowd. I sat at the bar with a barely touched glass of honey mead.

Damien came up to me and pushed his way between the women who were dancing with me. He placed his hands on my hips and danced with me instead. “Snow, how are you feeling?” He said low in my ear. “I’m feeling fuzzy, and happy.” I replied. “Ok, if you start feeling sick you need to tell me.” He said. “Ok. Wait, who are you?” I replied with a wary tone.

In the face of danger, laughter became a beacon of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there was room for joy and connection. And so, amidst the whirling chaos and uncertain alliances, Chloe and the enigmatic stranger continued their dance—a dance of attraction and danger, trust and doubt. With each twirl and dip, they explored the boundaries of their connection, searching for answers that would shape their shared destiny. In this intricate choreography, Chloe discovered that sometimes the most perilous dances were the ones that led to the most profound revelations.

Derek’s POV This is the D-day, the day of the dance. They’d covered the old town hall floor in glittering cloths and fake snow and hung crystal lights and fancy tiles, but under all of it I could smell wolves. Packs crammed together, trying to look like normal students in rented tuxes and cheap masks, pretending this was just a dance. Pretending they weren’t calculating every move and every glance. My tie was already strangling me, so I tugged at it, ignoring the looks from some of the teachers by the door. I wasn’t here for them. I wasn’t even here for the damn ball.

I said, grabbing my phone. Twenty minutes later, we were sitting on the floor with our legs crossed, and two open boxes of pepperoni pizzas between us while we waited for the moving truck . Lola put on the Kate Bush song from Stranger Things, and we spent a few minutes fan-girling over Steve Harrington. But then the playlist shuffled and switched to Beyoncé’s Formation, and Lola practically leapt to her feet like a cat. “Come on,” she said, standing up and pulling me with her. “One last kitchen dance.”

I was just Naomi, a girl dancing with her friends in a dark, sweaty club. We danced for what felt like hours, a blur of flashing lights and pounding music. Some guy with a nose ring tugged Sarah away from us, and she went without hesitation, laughing over her shoulder. A tall stranger grabbed Anna’s hand, and Priscilla disappeared with a boy in a leather jacket. Suddenly, I was left alone, swaying slightly, clutching my empty glass.
