I will reward Pablo for this look." Belle smiled and blinked her eyes once at me. "I need to talk to my family, click my glass with theirs and then we'll have a dance." "Sure thing." She said, completely okay with it. "Wait here." I said to her and then walked away to where my family stood, still wondering why Belle wasn't standing with them and when she would begin to feel comfortable enough to.

-My name is Julio Cesar," he said in his driest tone. The brothers looked at each other in the typical up-down look at strangers. -Are you going to the dance? An ordinarily unnecessary question since everyone was in costume, but not to let the 'climax' of a bad conversation start Lucas spoke up. -You know it's for the hospital that had its blood supply looted- and looked suggestively at Julio Cesar and his group- and one or two broken things. -Don't tell me," said the latter ironically, "and have you found out who did it? -No, and the most interesting thing is that the security cameras didn't record anything. Grant Middle School – The Winter Dance Sade’s Point of View December 2010 brought snow-dusted streets, holiday lights on every corner, and the highly anticipated winter dance at Grant Middle School. Sade and Isla stood in Isla’s bedroom, putting the final touches on their looks for the evening. “Your ponytail came out so good!” Isla said, fluffing the curls in Sade’s high ponytail. “Thanks. I’m glad my mom let me wear it like this,” Sade replied, brushing a hand over her white sweater.

I felt a sudden pang in my chest that I shouldn’t be feeling. “I’m vibing with this song,” Emma said with a smile on her face. “We will be doing a snowball dance so everyone will participate. This is the main highlight of the homecoming and I want you all not just to dance with the people you know, but also the ones who you haven’t had a chance to talk with. The snowball dance will be continuous, meaning, when the music stops, you will need to go to the seated guest and ask them for a dance,” she explained. “Now without further ado, I would like to invite Daniel Mayhem to go on the dance floor for a dance.”

Shane dawdling behind to come in later with his friends. "Mr Whiting is going to tell us about the Snow Ball in a minute." Rae whispers, which explains why everyone seems to be paying such close attention. "Come on lads, we're just starting." Mr Whiting waves Shane and his friends to their seats. He goes through the information for this year's winter dance, the Snow Ball, explaining where, when and how to get tickets. "Yes, Priya?" "Can we invite people from outside school?" Priya asks, blushing when Ruby Jones shouts out that relatives can't be dates, causing a ripple of laughter amongst her friends.

Nina That night, it was finally time for the dance. I put on my new dress and did my hair and makeup with Lori and Jessica, then headed over to the auditorium. The dean surprisingly put together a lovely dance despite the circumstances. There were streamers and balloons adorning the auditorium, live music being DJ’d by one of the students, and food and drinks being served. As I passed by the big, handmade signs that read “SNOW DANCE” and walked into the auditorium, it almost felt like I was in high school again, like I was just sixteen and going to a winter formal dance. Everyone was dressed up and dancing, and I even caught a few students right off the bat who were secretly sipping out of t

"Get me another shirt… the gray one." With practiced ease, he stripped off the white shirt he had just put on and raised his hand toward me, waiting, as he always did, for me to hand him the freshly pressed one. The phone screen still glowed. I caught sight of Janine’s message: "Mr. Quinn, tonight’s event requires a gray suit." The professional tone was undercut by a playful cat emoji that followed right after. "What are you staring at? Where’s the shirt?" When I didn’t respond, irritation hardened his features.

That was my mission. The band started up and people began milling about. The storm was raging outside, and the lights even flickered a few times. A power outage was the last thing we needed, but the lights steadied themselves. Outside, people played in the snow, taking advantage of the unique photo op to snag a pic in the snow wearing pajamas. Stella and Cameron took the floor for the first dance. Cameron attempted to lead Stella in a waltz, but it was clear he had two left feet, so Stella stopped him and just wrapped her arms around him. Everyone looked on with smiles on their faces.

Albert carried the cat plushy with stars and hearts in his eyes. "You like cats?" "Yes," He smiled. "Then do you have a cat as a pet?" "No." "Why?" Lia wondered. "Allergic." "Who is allergic?" "Me." "Oh." Lia thought that someone in his family was allergic not him. "Well, then you can play with the plushy." He was happy. "Let's go there. I want to see the dance." It was the THREE PM DANCE. Today's theme was tennis dance. The dancers danced like the way players played tennis. It added a comedic effect and all the spectators were amused.
