"Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike." — Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix * H U N T E R J O N E S | The Lovestruck Bad Boy It had been a really good day. I had gotten to spend time with Mey, helping her with homework and telling her my life story. I let out a dreamy sigh, which made me look like Ron after he accidentally drank the love potion. Except that I didn't need a love potion to be crazy about Mey.

So, I reluctantly handed the task of dealing with Roy over to Harry and walked over to the bar to pour myself a drink straight from the bottle. Harry approached Roy, whose leg had now completely disappeared. Taking up a blade previously used by Peter, Harry aimed directly at Roy's neck, preparing to sever his head without giving him a chance to wait for death. Ethan, as an extra precaution, set up a protective barrier to prevent Roy from escaping, though the likelihood of that happening was slim to none at this point because Roy had exhausted all his strength enduring the pain caused by the magic potion, and now he lay helpless, allowing Harry to proceed with the execution.

cried one of the sorcerers as he pointed his spiked tendril whip at Draco. Draco caught it empty-handed. The thorns in the whip pierced the skin of Draco's hands until they bled. Draco didn't care. He froze the whip stiff and filled with icicles, then with one pressure, Draco crushed the icicles to pieces. Edmund fired a fire that burned the whip tendrils of the other Sorcerers. The whole sorcerer became frightened and scurried off with a pale face. Radcliff watched the scene with his hips back and sighed.

I continue to watch as Serena suddenly smirks, the kind of smirk that could make someone's heart waste away with absolute fear. She stretches her left hand, and I watch as the witches and wizards instantly freeze in their positions. Their bodies begin to take on a kind of strange shape, as though something is moving internally, breaking their bones apart and forcing them to move in ways that are against their own will.

My stomach sunk in realization, Annabelle had been inflicted with an inferno spell. The inferno spell, a spell that is used to torture spies and criminals, so that they would relent and break. The spell heats up the surface of your skin slowly and then the temperature steadily goes up to a boiling point, until all you can feel is your skin slowly roasting and peeling under the burning pain. A slow, painful and agonizing death. Without me realizing it, my vision had blurred, tears pooling in my eyes as I took in the extent of her injuries. Wiping my unshed tears on the sleeves of my shirt, I sniffled and patted my cheeks, trying to maintain a calm façade.

Plastering a fake smile on my face, I headed to the dining room where a table for two was settled. “Miss Ava, the Alpha is arriving soon.” An omega girl ushered me to take a seat. Great! That was the perfect opportunity to drop some of the confusion potion on his glass, only a few droplets, so he wouldn’t notice it. Stine said that this potion had unpredictable effects, depending on the person. It could make him spill the beans, become easier to persuade or start babbling nonsense like a drunk pixie raccoon.
