Scorned Wife No More: A Queen Pampered by Three Tycoons

Scorned Wife No More: A Queen Pampered by Three Tycoons

She discreetly glanced at Heath in the passenger seat and whispered, "Just drop me off at the subway station up ahead." Heath hesitated, shooting a cautious glance at Timothy seated behind him. Without Timothy's approval, he refrained from making any abrupt stops. Meanwhile, Mia subtly observed Timothy beside her, noting his resolute and stern expression. With a commanding tone, Timothy directed, "Pull over, please. You're aware that fuel comes at a cost, right?" Shortly afterward, the car came to a stop outside the subway station. Without looking back, Mia swiftly opened the car door and stepped into the subway station.

Accidentally His: The Girl Who Trespassed

Accidentally His: The Girl Who Trespassed

--- The subway car is jammed so tight that we're forced close together near one of the center poles. I grab onto it with one hand, his hand lands just above mine. The train jerks forward, sending our shoulders bumping together, and neither of us moves away. "We transfer at 74th Street," I tell him. "Then we take one more train. Have you seriously never taken the subway before?" "I'm beginning to realize," Albert murmurs, looking around the crowded car, "that I've been living in a completely different version of this city."

Rejected Tribrid Wolf: Her Four Alphas' Curse

Rejected Tribrid Wolf: Her Four Alphas' Curse

"I said what I said." "Then let's move faster." Cade pointed at the map. "Northwest node — I can take that one physically. I don't need magical access, just the right tool and thirty seconds with the box. Southeast — Soren." Soren nodded. "I can manage the southeast." "Which leaves you the center," Cade said to me. "I need to be underneath it," I said. "Direct access to the grid. Subway level." "There's a maintenance entrance on Colter Street." Cade had it already, the precise location the way he always had precise locations. "I mapped it last week. Unlocked during transit authority shift change at 2200."

The Billion Dollar Contract

The Billion Dollar Contract

"We get off. We find help. We figure this out." "Together?" "Always together." The train pulled into Jay Street station, the bright fluorescent lights jarring after the tunnel darkness. We stood carefully, Adrian supporting my weight as other passengers filed past us, heading for the exits and their warm beds. We followed the crowd toward the stairs, each step agony—not just from the contractions, but from the knowledge that we were walking into the trap. We emerged onto the street in Brooklyn Heights. It was an upscale neighborhood with tree-lined streets—safe, normal. Except for the black SUV parked directly across from the subway entrance.

THE ONE WHO SAVED ME

THE ONE WHO SAVED ME

Daniel waves, ushering me to his car. “Where are we going?” I yawn. “Subway, just getting some real lunch” He smiles, pulling out of the schools parking lot. Subway is very close to our school so it took almost 5 minutes. “Hey man” Daniel says to the guy at the counter. He quickly orders for the both of us and we grab drinks. “Want to eat it at school or here?” He asks. “We can eat at school” I say, looking into Daniel’s eyes.

Jesse shrugged and pouted his mouth, trying to find a perfectly reasonable explanation for K's question. "Well, I love taking the subway," he started. "And the NYC cab service is really convenient. But what I really love about taking the daily commute is, how I can observe people. But not in a creepy way, just merely... seeing through them. How they all look so tired and bored of their customary lives. And sometimes, if I get really lucky, I get to watch really good performers doing acts on the train. I give them my business card and call out a meeting, I've even struck a record deal once. It's - it's really fascinating. Makes me feel like I'm somehow... grounded, and connected, to the world

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

"What station is this?" "Evergreen Mall," Kit said to Hayley. "Evergreen Mall connects two subway lines. We're on Line 11. Hardly anyone rides this line in the last few stops, and the exits all lead directly into the mall. The other one is Line 2. That's Brookville's busiest line. Tons of people ride it. It connects several major neighborhoods around Evergreen Mall, and it has a lot of exits." After hearing that, Hayley immediately understood the situation.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

My Mysterious Husband

My Mysterious Husband

“Drive safely, and let me know when you get home.” “Sure,” Brett nodded, and then they parted ways. Brett headed towards the parking lot while Emma made her way to the subway. The area where she lived was strategically located, with easy access to buses and subways. After exiting the subway station, Emma did not have to walk very far to reach her apartment complex. “Excuse me, have you seen a small boy around four or five years old?” A distressed young woman in her late teens asked as she approached Emma. Emma paused and shook her head. “Sorry, I haven’t seen him.”

The Heaven Hill Generations Series

The Heaven Hill Generations Series

It's cold as hell, but the jolt to my system does wonders in waking me up. I've gotta make a plan, and I've gotta make it fast. Do I stay in Bowling Green, or get the fuck out? I'm looking for a sign of some sort. As I watch the road leading to the apartment, I see a SUV come to stop in front of it, before turning in, and someone I've been thinking about since last night steps out of the driver's seat. "Shortcake!" I yell from where I stand. She glances up, shielding her eyes from the sun, before giving me a frown. "You might wanna put some clothes on, you're giving the entire neighborhood a free show."

"What are you hearing over all that noise?" "Just wait." Lina closed her eyes. The voice was deep under the static. It was in pieces. Then one word came through. It was clear and cold. Subway. Lina pulled the headphones off and dropped them on the desk. "You get a location or a street name?" Sophia asked. "He said subway," Lina said. "He was very specific about that." "He gave you just the one word and nothing else?" Marvin asked. "One word is enough if you know where to look."
