Suicide Notes Book Novels & Stories

She mutters to herself like mental note, and hands over the paper to me. I flatten out the suicide note, my hands shaking. For a second, I start hoping this is all an elaborate prank; a way Lexie had planned to get back at me for being angry at her. I start hoping I’ll read the note and it’ll say something along the lines of ‘gotcha sucker’ and Lexie would spring back to life, laughing her windshield laughter. But only two lines stare back at me in black ink, squiggly and cramped just like I remember Lexie’s handwriting.

Author Note; Trigger Warning, this chapter contains suicide. While I won’t be describing it in detail, it still might be upsetting to some people if you are sensitive to that. Please don’t read if you are offended or affected by that. Also, remember this isn’t fact, this is a work of fiction I have made up myself, some information might not be factually correct but for the sake of the story, this is how it's going. I guess I could get a good enough view of her there… Oh gosh, Anya, that’s so gross. I just shake off the thought and decide to unroll the bag. As I do so, I stumble upon something. I look below me and near my right knee is Sadie’s notebook, slightly ajar. I took them and lay them on the side so I could straighten the sleeping bag. After that, I went back to my place, taking the notebook with me. It is a medium-sized hardbound notebook. It is coated in black but there are a few statements written in what seems like a cut-out white paper taped on the hardbound. Some words have exclamation points, question marks, swear words written in all uppercase, and other words like Shh!, Quiet! It’s Not

I glared. "Oh yes, I do. What's it about?" He asks, opening it on the same page where I was at. "It is a thriller one, you know where someone commits a heavy crime and murders the main character's whole family.." "Yeah? Interesting," he went back onto the very first page. This guy really just read the author's note, oh my goodness he is killing me... "Give it back." "Eh, maybe when I finish it," he smirks. "Not a chance, Ellis, hand it over."

Finishing the last bit of food on her plate, Hazel walked over to the side of the table to grab Luca's plate too and put it outside the door for the servants. She caught sight of the strange book she had borrowed from the library, the one about the inner wolf. She scoffed to herself. She hasn't really read anything more ridiculous. She grabbed the plate of the table, realizing there was piece of paper lying just beneath the book. Her brows drew together, forming a tense line in the middle. Carefully, she slipped the note out from under the book. Carefully unfolding the note, her brows furrowed even more as she realized it was another ash note.

Her analytical mind scanned the room as she ordered Eknath to take notes. “21-year-old girl. Medium height, fair skin. A mole on her right eyebrow. Dressed in pajamas and a T- shirt. Lying on the bed with a vertical slit wound along her right wrist. Nothing appears to be out of place. Handwritten suicide note recovered from the bed side table. No fingerprints, no sign of forced entry.” She gave her orders still looking around and picking up random objects with her gloved hands, trying to find a clue.

In the end, his gaze landed on the suicide note on the table. Adela didn’t notice his actions. Her hands trembled as she lifted the white cloth. Calvin’s face was bruised and swollen from a beating, and now, lifeless, it was terrifying. The sight filled Adela with both heartbreak and fear. How did it come to this...? The tears she had held back for so long finally burst forth, falling onto the white cloth. After reading the suicide note, Dexter was shocked. He immediately crouched down and handed the note to Adela. "Adela, read this! You—"

The book felt heavy in her hands, an aged edition of Crime and Punishment with page edges yellowed by time. The campus library was nearly deserted, the silence punctuated only by the distant hum of a projector in a classroom. As she thumbed through the pages, the note fell into her lap, a folded piece of paper with handwriting she instantly recognized. Today, room 204. Lock the door. Don't utter a word. His heart was pounding before his brain could even comprehend the meaning. He was certain she would come. He knew she would take that book.

"You can walk out of this room and go back to being the girl who hides in the attic. Or, you can stay, and you can tell me which one of these men was the one who actually pulled the trigger on your father’s 'suicide.'" I looked at the men. I looked at Julian. My hand went to the black diamond necklace—my collar. "I'm not going anywhere," I said, my voice steadying. Julian’s smile returned—the one of pure, twisted pride. He reached into his jacket and handed me a small, leather-bound notebook. It wasn't the ledger from the lake. It was new. "Then start taking notes," he said. "The game just got bloody."
