They were in the same faculty and in turn became friends. Leo, William, Drake and Stephanie also left for college. During the Holidays they would all return home. Summer didn’t associate with them much because she was beyond busy, any little opportunity she gets she put it into her business. The only time she was spotted was on Sandra’s wedding day and the naming ceremony for Sandra’s baby.

Every hair on her arm stood as she beat back the panic welling in her breast. On the other hand, she had read novels in which the lady had enjoyed the pirate’s passionate kisses. The heroine in the book actually fell in love with the ruthless man. Isabelle rolled her eyes. It was beyond her knowledge how any woman could feel that way. Yet, Hawk had been attentive while she was being jolted atop his horse. It had seemed he almost cared about her discomfort when offering to have her lean against him.

And then there were Marianne and Elena—inside, carrying the weight of summer storms long past, and secrets that stretched across years like invisible threads. Gemma opened her notebook, pen poised above the blank page. She didn’t know what she was about to write—an observation, a story, a warning. Maybe all three. Summer picked up the book she left in the living room and she walked back to the kitchen to sit with Spring, as Ruby made lunch. She would be going out soon because it was her birthday tomorrow, and she was planning to get some things to prepare for it. “Stop pulling that, Spring. Leave your sister alone.” She said when she saw Spring pulling at Summer’s book. He loved to pick on her sometimes like that, but she was always there to stop him. Spring laughed. "I was just messing with her, but she's a crybaby.” He said as Summer’s eyes started to water with tears.

Watching television had not quite worked out for Mercy either time that she had tried it, so she decided to spend her day reading a book. Luna Isabella had recommended something called Little Women to her, which she said was a classic, and so far, Mercy was enjoying it. She’d curled up in the window seat in the bedroom she’d been sleeping in. Outside, fall leaves fluttered from the trees, spreading a blanket of color all over the velvety lawn. Mercy’s eyes kept wandering away from the words, even though she did like the book. Once her eyes strayed from the words, they quickly slipped to August.

I continue my work and I have a good progress. I decided to email my proposed title and outline to Ms. Amanda and I’m a bit nervous. I hope she will like it. I’m confident with my work but knowing Ms. Amanda she is a very strict and I don’t know what really catches her attention or what her taste about a novel. I decided to make a romance novel about a girl that left on her wedding day to pursue her dreams and after a long time will meet again her past lover.

Walking around the huge library Dex had in his home, I admired his collection of books. I ran my fingers over the first-edition Shakespeare books. I held my breath, scared to breathe on them. "You don't have to be afraid to touch them. They're yours." I look over my shoulder at him quickly while giving him a shocked look. "Mine?" He cackles as he strolls up to me. He places his hands on my waist, sliding them down. His hands slip under my summer dress to corress my ass. I gasp as he picks me up.

“This one is yours. Only yours.” My eyes blurred with tears. I laughed, crying at the same time. “Liam… this is…” He pulled me into his arms. “Stop crying. I built this to make you happy, not sad.” “I am happy,” I whispered against him. “These are tears of joy.” I tilted my head, looking up at him. “Summer holiday is officially my favorite.” “Why?” he asked, smiling. “Because it’s when our paths crossed.”

I then look down to read the letter and when we do, I can’t help but be excited to see what could happen from it. My sweet ray of sunshine, You bring out the sun on a gloomy day, Your sweet scent reminds me of the sweetest pineapple, And of the sweetest Vanilla ice cream. I long to find out if your lips are as sweet as the look. I wish to give you the world and show you the way love can feel. Your greatest love.
