Summer Solstice Memes Novels & Stories

The driver hopped out and opened the back door for us, ushering us inside. Nova gushed the entire drive, practically bouncing with excitement. Her good mood was infectious, and quickly eased the knots of anxiety rumbling within my gut. As she passed me my mask, a gorgeous thing made entirely of lace, I slipped it on and hooked the thin straps behind my ears. “The night of the Solstice is a time for celebration,” Her lashes fluttered as she sighed happily, “It’s the start of summer and a reminder that change is inevitable.” A playful light entered her gaze, “It’s also a time where our powers are heightened, so be careful what mischief you get into.”

I stumbled on the words. He smiled like none of that mattered. “You like it. I like it. That’s enough. We stay until one of us doesn’t.” “Tomorrow is the Summer Solstice. Everyone is working hard. It feels wrong to relax here.” He knew I was right. But he didn’t move. “There are still rides we haven’t tried.” “We can try them next time.” “Next time,” he echoed. His chest loosened. For once he didn’t seem afraid I would vanish.

He paused, then added, as if I needed more convincing, “Think of it as training, so she can assist you better in the future.” Back to normal? He had no idea. I wasn’t coming back. I was done arguing. “Okay,” I said quietly. “I understand.” The next evening was the Summer Solstice festival. The entire estate was lavishly decorated. Lights lined the long corridors, and garlands of flowers and silver ornaments chimed softly in the night breeze. Pack members, dressed in their finest, mingled and chatted, their faces bright with festive cheer. And there was Maria, standing beside Albert as if she were the true Luna.

“You can’t be serious?” I shrugged nonchalantly. “What, you don’t want a day full of fun and stuffing our faces with carnival food?” I looked at what she was seeing: the boardwalk was crammed with various vendors, and there was a Ferris wheel along with other rides and booths with a variety of gClio. It was Malibu’s annual Summer Solstice. During our outings to all of the museums, Clio had mentioned how she’d always wanted to go to a fair or carnival but had never gotten a chance to as a kid. Considering the conversation that was ahead of us, I figured something light-hearted would be in order. She laughed. “I can’t believe this is what you chose.”

"Preliminaries start in summer in Japan. If we are unable to attend, you can stay a little longer to see the start of the Spring Tournament." His eyes widened, then he broke into a small smile. "Thank you." It's not that he was opposed to going back to Japan, nor didn't he want to go either. There was just something unsettling for him to go back without a proper memory of what happened. He was rather afraid of the responses he would get.

Riley snickers, as does Aurora; only Kara seems to hide her amusement. “Now I see it. I had always wondered why you and Jaden ended up together. I thought you were the sane one. It’s a lost cause if Jaden is the brains behind your duo.” Her mouth pops open, looking shocked. “Caleb,” Aurora interrupts, narrowing her eyes at me to remind me to get to the point. “You had some news.” My mate tosses her hair over her shoulder, revealing the long column of her neck I had covered in kisses late last night. She gives me a knowing smile as I shut that memory down so I don’t get distracted. “It’s summer solstice.” Kara nods, a little twinkle in her green eyes as if she is happy I finally figured it ou

The pack house bustled with activity. Laughter and the rhythmic thrum of music spilled through the open doors, beckoning everyone in. Tonight was Logan's annual summer solstice party, a chance for the pack to unwind, celebrate, and maybe even find a little romance under the full moon.

, Drake responded before giving a lengthy explanation. "Summer solstice is the day when we celebrate life and new beginnings. It starts in the morning. Kids make their own floats, and the best ones get rewards in various categories. In the afternoon, vendors open their stalls with games and food in the town square. In the evening, there is music, drinks, and dancing around the bonfire, and it all ends with fireworks."
