I clutched the bag to my chest and nodded hurriedly, causing him to sigh wearily. “Good, now close your eyes,” he muttered. I did as he said and closed my eyes, feeling as he placed his fingers against my forehead and began to mutter. “Trees of life Hear this one’s cry Take this child Beyond the sky To the world above I draw my blood Open the gates To let through this flourishing bud.” The world around me became dark as I blacked out. When I had opened my eyes again, I was under a tree, deep into some woods on earth. I remembered almost dying multiple times as I continuously ran into dangerous predators.

It’s all I think about. So I ready everything I need and recite the spell. The wind howls angrily, I’m levitating and the book sets itself on fire but it doesn’t burn. The pages remain in tact and for the first time all night. I feel scared. “You’re either very brave or very stupid for summoning me.” I suddenly get dragged into a realm of darkness and there’s a figure in front of me but I can’t make out their face. All I can see is a pair of green eyes glowing in the dark. My heart beats frantically in my chest. I want to curl up in ball and I want t o reverse the spell and put the books back where I found them because all I feel coming from those green eyes is evil and an insatiable hunger.
