Sun Keeper

I need a dragon handbook. I turn my neck and sway slightly because I'm unaccustomed to my size. I gain my balance and try again. I'm surprised to see my scales are yellow. This makes me laugh. I'm a yellow dragon-the color of the sun and also daisies. I'm beautiful. I raise my front leg, tilt slightly as I do it, and examine my black talons. They're long and sharp. I whip my tail around and it smashes upside my head. Yep, it's there and I need to learn to control it.

she repeated. He chuckled and ran his hand through his dark hair, which caught the light of the moon and made it look like satin threads. “My name is Slate,” he told her, looking her right in the eyes. “I know the dragon well, Princess, because… I am the dragon.”

If it thought it was me then. "Who am I and what am I?" I asked. " Danae Ravdylon. Bearer of the Ice Dragon." It managed to sound dry even with its kind of voice. I folded my arms and nodded. "So, you're an ice dragon and I carry you. Fair enough." It flapped its wings again. "I am 'THE' Ice Dragon. The only one. The bearers may expire but I live forever. Only I. For another to be born, I have to expire."

By dragon law, I need to have one in the next five years if I want to continue my rule, if I do not produce one, my insane brother could try to claim the throne, and no one would want that. I am a full dragon and with that, I need to be even more careful. Half breeds: that is what the council wants. That is what is safe. Half noble human and half dragon are what bloodlines are supposed to be made of when royalty breeds. When two full-blood royal dragons mate, you risk health issues along with the possibility of mental instability…. Like what happened with my twin brother Sanderson and me. We were born from the same egg, we look identical, but are nothing alike… he should be locked up in an i

Lizzy mused. “They looked at me as if I was a bug to squash,” Chloe said bitterly. “Perhaps, if they knew your origin, they’d think differently,” Lizzy offered. “Now, tell me about the dragon part. How marvelous to be able to transform into such a majestic beast. How very lucky. Did you know that there is a planet in the Oobla galaxy that has some of the most advanced scientific minds in the universe and these minds are housed within the bodies of dragons? Max stepped in front of me, facing Dragon directly, and said, "She will not go with you alone. I am coming too." "Humans are not allowed inside!" Dragon challenged. I took a deep breath and calmed down a bit before finally speaking. I wasn’t afraid of Dragon anymore, but I was worried about him knowing about my children and that they were his. Of course, they all knew the powerful figure who was a god to their empire. Moreover, it was the Golden Dragon who helped the Sun Empire become what it is today, even though the incident occurred during the reign of the two previous emperors. So what? Why did this terrifying figure suddenly ask them about the Golden Dragon? The Sun Emperor's eyes widened as he suddenly realized one thing he could be sure of. The destroyed world also had a connection with the Golden Dragon, and his world was also connected to the Golden Dragon.

'' "Ok, but that still doesn't answer the type of dragon we are. Do you breathe fire? Or maybe you can control water.'' There was a laughing sound. ''You will find out when we bond, but just know that we are a force to be reckoned with.'' ''I wish you could explain more to me.'' ''Like what?'' ''Our parents.'' ''Nightwing was and still is the greatest dragon there is. There is yet to be any dragon to defeat him. Many have tried but failed.
