Rowan’s POV The sun hadn’t even risen yet when I opened my eyes. Not because of the alarm. Because of her. Aurora Hayes. The girl who shouldn’t matter. The girl who had no idea what kind of chaos lived just under the surface of this town. The one I left my pack for in order to warm her up and have her come back home with me as my Luna. She mattered to me. Too much some people might say but they wouldn’t understand. I had only been in Silver Creek for a few weeks, but every second near her felt like being rewired from the inside out. Like someone had taken my bones apart and built them around her.

The birds woke up to the greeting of the morning sun, and then they chirped melodiously. Ruby, who was sitting on a hospital garden bench alone, smiled broadly at the sunrise view. She closed her eyes and breathed a long breath with a big smile adorning her face. She seemed thrilled and excited to welcome her new day at school. After enjoying the sunrise, Ruby rushes to her room and prepares to go to school. She was so happy when she wore her school uniform that she kept humming. So excited, Ruby even ran a little out the hospital gate. Her smile grew wider and her views glowed as she saw Ricky standing waiting for her in front of the gate with his car.

Nya kept her head down, near Ruby’s neck, as the dragon was going at full speed, in a rush to get Nya back to the battlefield, and it seemed evident Ruby had been wanting to fly for a while. Nya wondered how it had been determined who would stay behind before and who would go, but then, it appeared that Ruby was a maid, not warrior. She flew like someone who would be good to have in battle, though, and Nya was glad that she was in such a rush to get where they were going

And I hate that part of me.” Something in the mirror’s face shifted—pity, or recognition. “Then we’re the same.” “No,” Ruby said, and drove her sword home. The body dissolved into shadow before it could fall, the storm devouring what was left. The wind howled once, then eased, leaving only the sound of rain. Ruby stood alone on the barrier, the world stretching into darkness on one side, light on the other. She didn’t lower her blade until her breathing slowed. Her ribs still burned from the shadow’s poison. She knew the scar would remain. A reminder of the part of herself she had killed.

I steady my breath, glance back to the men back at the fire. They're not paying any attention— drunk out of their minds. The dwarf belges. “Come here, pretty Luna. Have you ever tasted Bear balls before?” I almost vomit from the useless words that come out of his mouth. But it's all okay; I need the distraction. Stone stumbles forward again, huge head landing on my shoulder. His lips kiss the dent between my neck and shoulders. I feel his warm, stench filled tongue lick the skin and I squirm in disgust.

This was the first time he was talking to her so seriously and she could feel it in her bones. “Ryan, I..” tears began to stream down her eyes as she talked which made her brother pull her to an embrace. She was older but he was taller which made him fit into his embrace well. Aurora kept sobbing in her brother’s embrace while he patted her back. It was also very hard on her, the fact that she ended a day’s relationship because of his ex wife, shs was in pain and a lot of pain at that. It was hard for her to see his ex wife around him but what could she do? She didn’t have destiny in the palm of her hand.

She hissed at me as she went to open the door for our first pack Alpha. “Alpha Theodore Bronx, Alpha of the green woods pack, I brought my sons, Thomas and Timothy as one of my boys will be the next Alpha I hope you don’t mind Luna Riverwood.” A man’s voice said. I couldn’t see him from my seat but looking to Charlotte this was the reason she was here tonight. “Welcome Alpha, come on in. We are having everyone come to the sitting room to meet her so please follow me.” I heard the Luna’s voice come down the short hallway. I stood not wanting to but trying to make this go as well as it could. A tall man with black hair followed the Luna into the sitting room, I of course recognized the boys

A combination of inheriting the fox fire from my father and my mother's light magic can create one I call Solar.
