JAX When I wake on Thursday morning, it takes a moment for my eyes to adjust to the sunlight streaming into the room. It’s bright- a little too bright, I realize as I try to roll over. I quickly discover that I can’t because my arm is trapped beneath a sleeping Quinn beside me, and as my mind starts to wake up, it registers that this isn’t my room; I’m not in my bed. I must’ve fallen asleep here last night, and if the brightness of the sunlight is any indication, we’ve both overslept.

AARON'S POV “Still don't see it yet?” My eyes stayed on my screen, reading the text over and over again. The sender was obvious. U.X. What exactly was I supposed to see? I already knew Jack was into boys and now this… everyone already thought Jack slept around. So what exactly was I supposed to see in this? My brows squeezed in confusion as I looked towards Jack to find him leaving already. His jaw looked tight and his shoulders seemed tense. I just stood there, watching his back view until he finally disappeared out of sight.

"Rest well. Isaac's birthday party is in two days. I've already arranged your gift. When you're ready, let me know. I'll come get you." The door clicked shut, leaving me staring at the ceiling for a long time. I guessed I couldn't warm someone who had no heart. I picked up my phone, checked my email, and saw Alpha King Sebastian Buckley's reply. It read, "Isabella, as you wish." I then closed my eyes.

With a content sigh he crossed his arms behind his head and stretched out his legs, crossing them at the ankle. “Alright then,” he said dreamily. “You wanted to read to me? Go ahead. I’m all ears…” He closed his eyes. “Well, maybe Wendy would like to read it to you herself,” Sarah scathed. “Or she might even be willing to throw in a demonst–”

The sunlight streamed in through the windows and left a hot trail across Alex's face. She squinted her eyes against the sun and pulled back. Jack sat with his back to a wall with her leaning against him. His arms felt warm and protective around her. She could lay here all day if it weren't for her grumbling stomach. Lexi lay with her head on a bunched up sweatshirt in Jack's lap.

Lacey tells him, before she turns around once more to check on the children. Sunny is staring out the window in delight, seemingly mesmerized by the fat flakes of falling snow. Jack is playing his hand held gaming console once more, but he too keeps casting furtive glances out his window at the snow. Both children love the snow. Sunny finds it magical, how fluffy it looks and how it sparkles in the light. Jack just likes throwing snowballs at people and piling the fresh powder up to make forts or snowmen.

Alpha King's POV This life didn't always turn out the way we wanted it to, on the contrary, most things turned out in ways that we didn't anticipate. The truth I was looking for may be something I never expected. The heavy rain still showed no sign of stopping, but the dark clouds had dispersed, leaving a very clear blue sky that stood out in the middle of the heavy rain. Alice said looking at Jack. Jack turned his focus from the sun to Alice. The sun was making its way out from the clouds making the day brighter. Its ray landed on Alice's face making them glitter. Jack was numbed seeing the beauty in front of him. Alice was looking marvelous. Her skin color blended with the sunlight, reflecting a beautiful color. Alice noticed Jack's eyes staring at her and she moved her head to another direction as if she was admiring at the view. Jack too came back to his senses seeing Alice move. He had no idea of what had just happened. He coughed trying to calm the mood between them.

My mind crazed and raced with a thousand different interpretations to what he had said and all the time I only arrived back at one answer, one that made my body heat and my wolf churn with need. When I got to Sara’s room and opened the door it was surprisingly quiet. Jack sat on his usual arm chair his fingers toying with a knight piece from a chess set, eyes staring blankly, and Sara sat on the bed, her hand gripping the end of a fork like it was a dagger as she stabbed a piece of turkey from her plate and stuffed it into her mouth. All the while her eyes dangerously on the back of her mates head. “So…? what’d the Beta want?” Sara asked, her eyes never leaving Jacks pink nape which I guesse

Marra moved back to sit next to Jack, the flat-phone girl fell silent, stopped babbling, she focused on reading one comment that her followers sent silently. @husnami01: is it true that Jack is dating Rachel?
