Superhero Powers Novels & Stories

he returns to the topic at hand, “tell me what these powers are again…” Bash and I explain his powers in colorful and sometimes overly theatrical ways as Bash acts out some of his greatest hits. I have to get him to pause right before he discusses what he did to Ash. "We don't need to tell him about every single time, Bash," I try to cover for him, but I can tell by Slate's expression that I'll need to explain more when we have a chance to be alone. Before exiting the car, Slate turns to the two of us, his hands extended. “Is this all of it,” he asks, carefully. “Bash has the power to read minds, sense danger, and occasionally knock someone out cold if he focuses his powers.”

But after a few seconds, he frowned slightly. Seeing his expression, Cristofer became nervous and flustered. He immediately squatted down and took Yohan's hand, saying, “Hi, Yohan. It’s Dad.” Still frowning, Yohan walked around him and asked in confusion, “Dad, do you really have a superpower?” “What?” Cristofer was confused. “Mrs. Moorsum said you are a superhero. Dad, what superpower do you have?” Amused by his words, Cristofer laughed and said, “Only when I need to beat the bad guys can I show my superpower. At other times, I can’t let others know about my superpower and have to keep a low profile.”

Hate was too small a word,it was too simple What I felt was slower. The kind of suffocating resentment that settled into your bones and refused to leave. Thirty years old man still stuck in a 9-5 job at Apex Dynamics. No money and no prospects The world had already decided I was the designated punching bag. Over a century again, due to some mutation that the government kept super-secret. Superpowers became a thing of existence. That brought about flashy pricks flying around on the news and government-sponsored heroes signing endorsement deals One in a thousand people got powers.

I was going to make sure she faced her punishment and I knew the Lenoras where planning to give her a death sentence. She deserved it for all the people she had killed. I then stood invincible near some tree. I guess we had landed at some kind of island. Since we were both gift copers I knew that she also had five powers like me. My five powers were now Invisibility, teleporting, shape shifting, shielding and the Sonic Scream. The only ones I knew Vera had for now where Sirenic powers which only worked on men to her, shape shifting, teleporting but the other two powers I did not know what they were.

he shouted. “I can’t! I’m trying but I can’t!” I shouted back. Suddenly, I felt really worn out and sore from the inside. I let go of myself and the whole thing stopped, including my own heartbeat. My dad took me to his lab and tended to me immediately in his own scientific way. He changed a little bit of me and inserted chips in my body that contained the strength and willpower to all those powers that I had. He made me a new person who could live with superpowers and learn how to control them. He made me a superhuman.

He said. "Well... You did let Zack have a day off…" Liam smirked. "Fine, I owe her a thank you anyway, I’ll call her." He said pausing, and I knew he was mind linking her. "So, what superhero powers have you got with that big aura?" I asked curiously. "Nothing so far. Maybe a little stronger?" Liam said, shrugging. "The Deimos' abilities were speed and strength, right?" Raven murmured. "Maybe you’re just stronger and faster. Race Al!"

"Healing power may be amazing, but it's not going to fend off an attack." We made a list of our assets, and as awesome as Zander's super strength and speed were, it didn't make him infallible. Yesterday's knife attack proved that. Ruthie, on the other hand, seemed awestruck to hear about Zander's superpowers. I could hear the envy in her voice and once again hoped that the "miracle" on the beach hadn't changed her in any way. We all agreed that my abilities were useless in a fight.

, he asks with shock evident in his tone. “My adoptive father is a cop. When we started getting close, he thought it would be important that I’d know how to protect myself”, I confess uncomfortably as I shrugged over it. “Didn’t think I’d ever need it though, but I enjoyed how the pullback used to feel”! “So what’s your superpower?”, he asks as he nudges me with his shoulder. “Healing”, I tell him! I want to heal everything and anything because I don’t want anyone to ever feel as broken as I do. “To be able to heal anyone of anything instantly! A broken leg, cancer, a broken heart”.

Immortals have similar abilities, such as drawing weapons and shields using their power, moving objects at a distance, and concentrating their energy on one part of their body to strengthen it. They can also use their power to sustain the life of an injured or sick person, but only a limited number of them have the ability to heal. They could also speak with their minds if they have a strong bond with one another, such as twins, oath-bound couples, partners, and, finally, parents to children or children to their parents.

He yells at me, running to Julia and getting her away from me. “I helped her, Ian. I am going to help all of you.” “How do you even know my name?” He asks me, and I smirk- Batman and Robin. “Because I know all of you. I have visions like Maddie,” They all gasp, but I continue, “I can kill and bring others back to life,” I pause as I watch their faces. “And control the weather?” Ryan asks, and I nod. “Yes, and the elements.” “Why did you get all of the powers?” Maddie asks me, and I shrug. I really don’t know.
