Alec's POV When Leo called me to inform me that Bella was never in the facility, I was surprised. I believed every single Mixed-blood who was despised or abandoned in Doomfield, were recruited into the facility I built three years ago. Mixed-bloods are supernatural beings who were often stigmatized. They are born with gifts which could be seen as blessings or curse. in most cases, they were seen as a curse to both the human and supernatural world. There were mixed-bloods in Bloodbrigg too but not as dominant a they are here in Doomfield.

I couldn't help imagining them as maybe commanders and generals when they were alive, or maybe doctors or nurses. Someone that protected life, or saved lives, then did something terrible before they died and then transformed into demon wolves to serve as warriors and guards in hell. It had to be the most...ironic ending, but to me it wasn't. They had gone from protectors and saviors to saviors still, but a more dangerous type. I definitely knew that the way I saw them had changed, they seemed a little more..pitiful to me now.
