I never got tired of it. I went into the den and turned the tv on. I couldn't even focus on the movie. My mind kept racing to Micheal. I missed him so much. I refused to believe that it was all a misunderstanding. I started to call one of my girls but decided that i isn't gonna bother them on Christmas. I needed to do some to clear my mind. I went into the kitchen to grab me a bottle of wine. Soon as I walked into the room, Damien instantly hung up his phone. I instantly got suspicious. He looked up at me sheepishly.

The professor explained and we all nodded as we all finally understand his point. This is the reason why I love this subject. It makes us feel like we're already real psychologists. He makes us think and speak like professional psychologists. The professor calls this activity 'QuestCussion'. It is where he'll start discussing and will suddenly drop questions in the middle of it. And it's a very good teaching method for me. It helps us to be a fast thinker. Well, at first we are all caught off guard because of his sudden questions but we eventually got used to it and was always looking forward to his subject.

Fate. They call it destiny or kismet. A time comes in life when there's so much happiness that getting something more than what you expected felt surreal, a figment of imagination. As if just the deepest yearning dream of yours comes alive. Your ear rings with a constant numbing feeling of the words that you yearned to hear for years. The words that now repeat in your head like a mantra of lullaby. Calming and serene. Then denial and disbelief kicked in. Questions raking one after the other. It was impossible but then again nothing was impossible for God. When with all your will you try to wake up from the blissful dream but nothing happens.

The mystery man was killing me with suspense. That night I finished reading a book that interested me a lot and I got ready to go to bed, but suddenly my cell phone started ringing, I took a look at it and was disappointed to see that it was an unknown number, a part of me expected Isaac to call me But he was keeping his word, he said he would give me all the time in the world to think about his proposal and that was what he was doing. I looked at my phone doubtfully, I had no idea who it was but it could be something important so I answered the call:

-Skylar- Suddenly, the pain stopped and everything around me looked completely different. Not in the sense that I was in a new environment, the way I was seeing everything was different. It was like I had a new pair of eyes; everything was much sharper. My nose filled with the most beautiful scent, cinnamon, my nose followed the scent, landing on Aspen. I looked at him, only to see him looking at me with complete and utter shock. I tried to get out some words, wanting to ask what was wrong, but nothing came out apart from a howl. Why was I howling?

Gem spits while standing beside mom who is shaking "Haahaa oh yeah we can see you need breaking in, well don't worry cheery pie there's plenty of us whos willing to oblige, and as for this chocolate muffin," he says nodding to mom "well i don't usually like them older but Mmmmm i think ill have a bite of this one",

Mathew said nothing before he left and she was inclined to follow him. Getting to the Staff workspace, there was news on the T.V about CRUZ company. There was silence as Maria stood to watch the news. There was a rumor going on about the CRUZ enterprise producing fake designs and adulterated paintings. Some top executives of other companies noted their disapproval of the CRUZ company and its methods. Nearly all of them said that they had no intentions of working with the CRUZ company. "How long has this rumor been going on?" Maria asked Dr. Mathew. She seemed cool and ordered but everyone knew that she would soon blow off her lid sooner.

Magnus’ breathing turned ragged, his entire body trembling as he dug his fingers into his temples. His chest rose and fell in sharp, erratic movements, as though he was fighting something—something clawing to break free. “Magnus?” Frederick stepped closer, cautious but firm. “Talk to me.” Magnus’ head snapped up. His eyes—dark, unfocused—locked onto Frederick, and for a split second, there was no recognition. No warmth. Just something wrong.

I screamed and held my head with both hands My head was pounding me,it hurts and felt as if thousand ants are crawling in my brain,my hands started shaking and my knee felt like rubber,I started breathing heavily I whimpered "It hurts...it hurts...Ahhhh" I screamed louder this time "Skylar! Skylar, what's wrong?? Pls Skylar! You are scaring me" I heard Leon panicked voice "Skylar..can you...can you hear me?" I felt as his chest falls and rise he also had difficulty breathing

The second goon says and I see his hands lighting up in a purple glow. I hear Maeve digging around in her bag a moment before something whizzes past my hip, slamming onto the ground at their feet. Instantly, a light flashes. I look at the goons who looked locked in the moment. “Let’s go.” Maeve says behind me. “What did you do?” I say, not moving, but looking at her behind me. “Stunning spell. It only lasts for 15 minutes, so we have to hurry.” I turn back and look at the goons. “Can they hear me?” I ask her.
