The car halts at once, but despite the nature of my request, he never takes his eyes off me. My body freezes. That beastly fury begins taking over my senses. My vision blurs, adrenaline spikes, yet a strange, fleeting calm settles deep inside me as I step into the brush. I stop unexpectedly. All I hear are my own heartbeats and the cracking branches beneath the trees. A warm, fleeting but powerful scent reaches me. When I turn toward the road, I see a black car-a sleek Ferrari speeding toward us at a breathtaking pace. A smile spreads across my lips, and I rush back out to the roadside.

" Van replied and Leo nodded. "Me too. It was great!" I answered. "It really was." Leo sighed. "I understand why the girls like doing this so much." Van laughed. "Try the water. Steve perceived it from where he was sitting and sniffed in the aroma, making a sound with his pointed nose. "Here you go", Barbara gave him the mug. " Thank you", he said and collected it from her. The young alpha salivated at the thought of gulping in the coffee mix. He put it in his mouth and swallowed greedily before noticing that it was actually very hot. Aaah, he screamed. "What is it?" Barbara ran out of the kitchen. "Ouch, my mouth", he screamed again. Barbara got him cold water and directed him to drink while he was still wriggling in pain.
