Damn her body for always responding so readily to him. Firelight caressed the leather cuffs and some kind of rope held in his giant fist. He bent over and captured one of her ankles. Claudia gave a token effort to pull her ankle back but he held her fast. She heard the click as the leather cuff locked over the delicate bones of her ankle. The slither of sturdy rope over her calf caused her to shiver. He moved it off her skin with a brush of his fingers and proceeded to trap her other ankle.
