Pulling out a remote, she angled it towards the blinds and weirdly enough, it started to come down, blocking out the gorgeous view and the sun.
“Why did you do that?” I protest, pouting.
“Because it’d be no fun to watch TV with lights glaring into our eyes.” Dropping the remote, Bethany picks up a tablet and begins to tap on it.
For a second, I lay there, confused over the whole thing.
That's when I looked around the room again and noticed that there was no TV or TV stand.

That train of thought promptly disappeared when I heard a soft whirring sound and the shelves gave way to make a sleek 65-inch TV, complete with a stand that slid up from behind the bookcases.
