I look at myself and see a mix of sticky glue, mixed with dirty fur covering all of me. The crowd erupts into laughter overtaking the sounds of my sobs and coughs. "Nice one, Talia!" yells Liam, the son of Alpha Brock from the Nightshade Pack, who I can make out in the front of the crowd. My blood runs cold at the comment. Talia walks on stage and gives me a condescending smile before addressing the audience. "Since my little sister can't shift into a wolf, I decided to lend her a paw," Talia giggles before looking back at me. "You're so welcome, my little Annette!"

Talia muttered aloud. She let the curtain fall and returned to bed. She stared at her sleeping sister. “Okay,” she whispered. “Anything for you.” Alina whispered, already drifting off, “For us.”

She said to me, a bright smile on her face, purposefully there to cheer me up. Unlike the other students parents in RHS, Talia's parents are from new money but she is not arrogant like the other kids and no,she doesn't show her off she doesn't act as if her parents are rich so she can bully anyone or treat anyone as a slave, that's why I respect and love her, she's really a gem and I am blessed to have as a friend, truly blessed. "Hi Holly," I greeted Talia's younger sister. She was really a great kid with brown eyes and ginger hair, she is an epitome of beauty just as beautiful as a sister and very respectful too.

There is simply no time to waste here," Isabelle stated firmly. I grunted because I had nothing to say against that. I leaned in, voice low. “So when were you gonna mention that your sister is married to my brother?” She sipped her water, calm as a queen at court. “I was avoiding you, Jalen. But you were going to find out sooner or later.” I watched her, really watched her from the curve of her mouth to the sharpness of her mind, and the way she didn’t fold under anyone’s bullshit.

Tala suggested. Together, we explored different places and had a great time, which significantly lifted my spirits. It dawned on me that Tala was the sister I never had. "Are breeders also allowed here?" a lady blasted while walking towards me. "What is it this time, Ulf?" Tala asked. At the mention of her name, I remembered her as Ralph's sister-in-law. "I wasn't talking to you," she retorted, Tala instantly stood between us. "Do you know who I am?" she asked me. Gently dragging Tala aside, I maintained eye contact with Ulf.

I watched as Lucas continued talking and I understood why he's so drawn to her, true Tala looked like Elena ( Lucas ex mate) who died while giving birth to Lucas child. “ True Tala might look like Elena, but she isn't your mate, she's mine and stay away from her Lucas.” My breathing was getting hotter and faster. “ You claim she's your mate, but did you tell the poor girl about what you had with Lyra?” “ What about Lyra?” A familiar voice replied from the door of the hut, all eyes turned towards the direction of the voice and there stood Tala.

“I told you this would happen!” Waitㅡ what?! I struggled to form words. “Wait, I can explain. She's lying!” His mum stepped forward, fury written across her face. “Is it not enough? The havoc and the rumors you've spread against your own sister?!” She seethed, voice harsh. I took a step back, struggling to form words. “Youㅡ That's not what happened, hear me outㅡ she's lying to you all! She cheated on Alpha Orionㅡ”

Leah whispers and cowers while I stand up and narrow my eyes. "What did you just call my friend and me?" I ask growly. Her scent smells familiar to Leah so I figure she must be her sister. "Want to say that to my face?" Talia is taller than me but I don't back down. I'm an Alpha's son after all!
