I was confused because none of this was making sense, earlier I put my entire strength to summon the serpent and perform black magic but then it even though I thought worked but still it failed leaving me back to square one and now these ashes are doing God knows what. “I can do it again.” Outside, the bells tolled midnight. Deep beneath the palace, in the Sanctum, frost crept along the golden walls. “I know.” “You can tell me to stop.” Jamie looked at him. Really looked. The scar. The control.
