Obviously, Carina knew Sheila very well, but she just smiled at her and said, "I just grew tired of it." She didn't want to go around town telling everyone that she was divorced. The teacher was boring so we were joking around just to keep from dying out of boredom when the TV switched on. It always came on when the principal, a weird woman I never liked has an announcement. Although this time it wasn't an announcement. I watched closer and then I saw her. Tara!! It was her and by what she was saying she seemed mad. That isn't good. She loses control when she's mad. But then again she was a vampire which meant that she should lose her witch powers so how was she making thunder and lightning. I didn't have time to think. She could hurt someone and I was the only who could stop her. I had to get to her quickly.

“I didn’t come here to listen to your rambling and your drama.” “Drama?” Tara repeated softly. “Fine then. Let’s talk about drama.” She opened one of her desk drawers and pulled out a white envelope. Her movements were incredibly calm, not a trace of pressure or nervousness visible on her face. As though she had already known exactly how this moment would unfold. But for some reason, Jimmy suddenly felt nervous watching her. “What’s that?” Adrian asked coldly. Tara didn’t answer immediately. She simply pulled several photographs out of the envelope before placing them one by one across the desk.

She was tall for a female, her hands gripping her wide hips. “What’s wrong with you, Tara?” Avery asked, setting her fork down and tilting her head to the side. I recognized the girl, but only from passing. I didn’t know a thing about her. She kind of fell in the background during gatherings. Tara glanced at me briefly, and I recognized the look instantly. She wasn’t a fan of mine. No big surprise there. She could join the Club of Wolfless Omega Haters. “I can’t believe I’m sharing a table with a murderer!” Tara said, shifting her gaze back to me.

I turned to leave. I had taken one step when something moved fast behind me. I looked back. Tara had grabbed a box cutter off the desk somehow. Her eyes were wild. She was already on me. My heart skipped. I knew I was not getting out of the way in time. Out of nowhere, Tara's mother flung herself between us. The blade went straight into her throat. The blood came out in a hot rush. She went down on the floor with one hand on her neck, and looking up at me, she got out the words.

Burying his head deep into her thick lengths of strawberry tangles, he turned his lips, so they grazed her ear as he whispered, “Tell me what you know about Shadow Land.” Tara nodded vigorously, but didn’t speak. “What do you know?” he repeated. “I... I’m not sure. I’m trying. I can’t think. My mind is mush,” she sniffed back the words along with her tears. “I… I know Dennis is there.” Tara pushed herself far enough away from him to allow her to look deep into his rich brown eyes while she pleaded, “Will you take me there?”

I whispered, “give me a sign. Take me back to Falcon.” Suddenly, a small group of deer came racing out of the forest to my left. I didn’t raise my head as I watched them flee for their lives. Two bears came sprinting out of the woods after them, stopping before entering the woods on the other side. One shifted back and I was stunned to see a fully nude Tara. She sagged slightly against the bear for a minute before walking into the trees. She came back out fully dressed and climbed on the bear’s back. I watched as they began to walk down the road with her running her fingers through his fur.

Curious I answered it anyways. “Hello, this is Tara” “Hello, Tara. So how did you enjoy your gift?” asked the ominous voice. It was so soft; I couldn’t tell if the caller was male or female. “Who is this? What gift?” “You know, you cannot have him. That must kill you. To spend so much time with the man you are in love with and not be able to tell him how you feel. Poor Tara.” There was a soft chuckle on the other line.
