The moment he got back home the sight he saw shocked him, his mother on the ground in a pool of blood and his father standing over her with a knife in hand. "Mom!" He had screamed at the top of his voice as he ran to her, "Papa why?" It was then it hit him... Papa was filthy...! He could still remember his mother's last words, "Be my good my little boy, Rafe." His father never said anything and only set the house on fire with Rafe and his mother still inside. The government officers arrived moments later and managed to save him just in time, he never saw or heard from his father again.

I swear.” As she pulled away, her father looked at her face, her eyes, and pressed a kiss on her forehead. “If I failed you, forgive your father, Tara.” A small smile spread across her lips. “You never failed me, but I’m a hundred percent sure I failed you as a daughter.”

My mom was nodding slowly with a shocked ‘I can’t say anything look. “So you’re telling me this guy over here let some guy burn you and you got in a comma for a year…” my dad said and I smiled bitterly. “Not exactly…the guy seemed like a psychopath and…” I trailed off. My dad nodded slowly looking at Xavier with judging eyes. He didn’t look nervous at all. “I take full responsibility for it,” he said with a straight face looking dad straight in the eye. Fuck, I didn’t want this shit to unfold like this.
