“I think so,” she whispered.
She climbed onto the back of his dragon with practiced ease. As the creature unfurled its wings, other dragons followed suit behind them—rows of gleaming scales in hues of gold, crimson, and sapphire.
Tate looked back once, making eye contact with Tora and then Cheyenne, giving them a nod of quiet thanks, before the dragons took off in a flurry of wind and power. Tabby’s hair streamed behind her like a ribbon as they soared toward the horizon.
