“Do what you want, but remember where you came from and what you're fighting for. This battle isn't for you alone.” She went back to her room and I let all the tears in my eyes roll out freely, her voice kept hunting me. The more I tried not to think about it, the more it hunted me. Mom was right, this wasn't about me. This wasn't a battle that's just for me. I had to do whatever I could to get Chase back, he was the ticket to getting our revenge. The sound of my phone vibrating snapped me out of my trance. I checked the caller Id, realizing that it was my boyfriend— Martin.

When the shot sounded and his body fell with a thud to the end part of the cliff, I finally released the breath I had been withholding. This was the new beginning. It was the end of my brother, my twin, but it was a new beginning with Emilia, the love of my life and who I was going to lead the pack with. END

Ivy continued. "Jake is my twin brother" Alpha Alexander said, still in a state of anger. Beta Drex placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, "Calm down, pull yourself together." "How dare he touch my mate?" "You both are twins, you surely would share the same mate." Beta Drex explained. Emily reached out to Ivy, hugging her and patting her slowly. "I'm sorry for doubting you" "Why do we have to fight over everything?" Alpha Alexander yelled, his frustration evident in his tone.

He muttered in our mind-link. Looking into his eyes, my finger traced his jaw. “You are going to have to wait. Mommy is hungry.” “TATE!” Brett plowed into me. “Sorry, man. Jo ran up and slipped her arm around my other side.

We stood in line, waiting behind an older woman wearing a bright yellow floral cardigan. "What can I get for you two sweethearts today?" the girl behind the counter asked. Before I could even reach for my purse, Aaron tapped his card against the reader. "Two double scoops of vanilla in waffle cones, please." I swallowed, my cheeks turning apple red. That was my favorite ice cream. How did he know that? The older woman ahead of us turned around to gather her napkin, taking one look at us standing side-by-side. She beamed, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Oh, aren't you two just the sweetest couple? Enjoy your date, dear."

"We've got to succeed and hold on for twenty-minutes. It's just twenty-minutes. Teamwork is important please! Everyone depends on everyone, don't forget out lives also relies on us winning this match." She looked at Andrew once she was done. "That's right," Andrew nodded, "And also give this match your best. Never underestimate CIN. He's a pro, you know." "Alright! Quick prayer!" Ethan said eagerly and they all shut their eyes. "Dear Lord, we come before you today as a team. Squad 10 is counting on you for protection and also make us victorious in the name of your dear son, Jesus, we pray," Suzanne prayed. "Amen." They all chorused.

"Guys, let me introduce my family member. All of them are in the army business. The little one there is Zenith; he will lead the air squad. "Hello." "Hi." "And guys, this is my team. The one with burgundy hair is Renee, the little girl there is Suzan, that man over there is Shon, this one is Malik, and the tall man is Veron." "And this is my scientist team, Ralph, Ali, Zack, and Cyrstal. I think you've met them at Imperial last time." "Well, only Ralph, Ali, and Zack," Adrian says while the other nods
