Silent tears rolled down my face. Why? Why couldn't I just have a normal family and a happy life? I never wanted to hurt anyone. I never even got involved with the things they did. But maybe I wasn't innocent either. The money that was used to raise me was dirty, stained with blood and tears. No matter how much I tried to deny it, I couldn't escape payback forever. I just never thought the price would be my own family trying to kill me. When Neil saw me crying, his whole face darkened with fury.

A small slither of happiness wraps around my heart, and yet I still can't stop the tears from falling. "Thank you." He whispers out, like those two words were the hardest thing to ever say in his life. Shock overcomes my body as my head shoots up to look at him, my vision slightly blurry from the tears. We just stare at one another no words between the two of us. As he wipes my tears from my cheeks, Alessandro's palm rises up to cup my cheek, warmth soaking into the skin there. " I said as I packed our stuffs making Bell confused. "Theo. Talk to me what's wrong? What's happening?" She asked as she stood watching me move from the cabinets to our suitcase. I didn't answer so she stood in front of me and made me look into her eyes. "Teddy tell me what's wrong?" She asked gently and before I knew it something came out of my eyes. The tears kept on flowing and I touched them and looked at Bell. "What are these? Why is it so good yet so painful?" "Oh baby. Those are called tears and they come out when we are in so much pain that we can't endure it anymore." She said making me hug her.

I cry for them. The warm golden glow begins to grow out of Trev as more of my tears fall on him. And it dawns on me. My tears, they can heal. My body, my mind, my soul, can harm and kill in an instant. But, my tears, can save the wounded, mend the broken. My empathy can be the salvation. I can just as easily kill as I can cure. So, I cry some more. The more I cry, the faster his wounds stitch back together. Color returns to his face and his eyes open to look at me as if I am an angel. Trev reaches a hand up and holds my face as my tears keep streaming down.

“Not because they had the Tears, but because everyone thought they did. That’s the brilliance of it. They didn’t need the real thing.” The more I think about it, the more it pisses me off.

His eyes were red, watery, and exasperated. But he's not showing a manly side to him just to prove he is capable of killing me. "I'm sorry…" I said, looking downward. "If something bad has already happened, does your sorry could bring them back?" he asked. "Think about it." I can't help these tears again. Why are my tears won't scarce? It always has a supply. Are my eyes only made with the purpose of crying? I can smile too. using these eyes. The little tears turned into a bursting cry.

My tears can't stop. "Need a handkerchief?"
