I was confused until Tamia uttered, “Princess Katie and Prince Kyle, kindly step forward and stand with the King and Queen.” Of course, it wasn't just a coronation for Raiden and me. It's for our family and one day, the babies in my womb would get their own crowns.

I trace the glowing sigils with one finger. Celeste (quiet, dangerous): “Then we don’t wait six months. We finish summer break, I turn seventeen, and then…” I look up at my crew (fire, coyote, fox, oni, monk, queen). Celeste: “We go on the offensive. One city at a time. They want the crown?
