I closed my eyes and let myself sink into the feeling of safety and security that Alex’s presence provided. After a few moments, I opened my eyes and looked at Ale. "Thank you," I said, my voice full of gratitude. "Thank you for being here for me, and for helping me through all of this." Alex smiled, his eyes full of warmth. I’m your bestfriend, so I guess that’s my job.” I smiled towards him, and he returned the favor by doing the same thing to me. I don’t know how can I express how thankful and lucky I am for having this guy as my bestfriend.
