The 5-time Rejected Gamma & The Lycan King Wattpad Novels & Stories

I whimpered, head bowed, and tried my best to explain the situation. My heart broke further when the man inside the room, the Lycan king, the man my wolf keeps calling mate, just watches the beta grab my arm, and start leading me down the dark hallway. “Please I didn't do anything,” I cried and tried to jerk my arm out of the betas tight grip before swinging my hurt gaze towards the lycan king. “Are you just going to stand there and allow this?” I snarled, not wanting to believe my mate was rejecting me without saying the words.

Lizette’s P.O.V. “A mistake?” My heart forgot to beat for a moment as my mate chewed his words hatefully, sending shivers down my spine. Alpha spoke out of the blue, “I, Brandon Cameron, Alpha of the Silver Claw Pack, reject you, Gamma Lizette Bancroft, as my mate and the future Luna of the pack.” A volcano of hatred rumbled as its molten lava burned my soul, throbbing my heart with the pain of a thousand arrows piercing it. This rejection was like being struck by lightning on a clear, sunny day, crumbling down my world around me.

I slide into the armchair next to me. “What? Why would I do that?” “I was rejected already. You are my second chance, mate. So I understand you are rejecting me. You are the Lycan king. Why would the moon goddess give an omega like me to someone so powerful?” Goddess, first an alpha and now a lycan king? The moon goddess has a sick sense of humor. “Wait. Who was your mate who rejected you? When?” He asks, and I can feel his jealousy peeking. I’m going to make a run for it. I have to. The minute I tell him who my mate is, he will be even more disgusted with me.

But tonight, I saw the cracks. I pressed on, reckless, my voice trembling with years of pent-up rage. "I know you never loved me. You married me for my name, my status, to prop up your crumbling business empire. But I'm done, Lucas. I'm tired of being your contract wife, tired of this public humiliation. So I guess this is it." "What are you talking about?" his snarled. I stared at him and stated, low and steady. "I, Leah Steen of the Lycan King's Pack, reject you, Lucas Lavoie of Kingfisher Pack."

He kowtowed repeatedly, his forehead touching the ground as he begged for mercy. The Lycan King's gaze swept past Aldrake's groveling form and landed on Livia, who looked like she had seen a ghost. Her eyes were wide with shock, her mouth slightly agape. She couldn't believe what she had just learned. "He's a... Lycan King," she thought to herself, her mind reeling with the implications. Just moments ago, she had struggled to reconcile his powerful presence with the rank of Gamma, but now she felt like she had been punched in the gut. The realization of his true position made her want to shrink away, especially when she thought about her interactions with him. Her wolf, Lilly, shared her pan

My knees hit the stone. Rejected. Discarded. Sold. All in one night. “The Lycan King arrives at dawn,” Rowan added. “Prepare her.” Then it came. A horn sounded in the distance. Low. Ancient. Powerful enough to make the very stone tremble beneath us. Every wolf in the hall bowed instantly. Fear crawled slowly up my spine. King Kael Varyn. The ruler wolves feared to name aloud. The king whose shadow bent borders and bloodlines. They thought tonight had broken me. They were wrong. Because beneath the pain… beneath the humiliation… something deep inside me was stirring.

“They are.” “You sound very certain.” “I know their Alpha.” That pulled my attention back toward him immediately. Interesting. “You’ve dealt with Velkar personally.” “Yes.” “And?” The Lycan picked up one of the reports before answering calmly. “They don’t start wars emotionally.” His gaze lifted toward me again. “They start them when they already know who benefits afterward.” That wasn’t reassuring. At all. I walked toward the opposite side of the table slowly. “Then they’ll keep pushing until Ironfang reacts badly.”

Jarek spits back at me before turning on his heels and heading to his first period class. Instead of going to class I lean back against the lockers and try to pull myself together. When I was born without a wolf I always knew that it would be a possibility that I would be rejected by my own kind because of it. I just never thought that I would be rejected by my mate. The mate bond is something that is sacred among werewolves and lycans. Your mate is supposed to be your other half. The person that was put on this earth to complete you. It is rare for someone to deny the mate bond, but it isn’t unheard of. So, here I sit, the daughter of the Lycan King, rejected and tossed aside like a piece o

Granny said oblivious to what was going on. I could feel sweat trickling down my back and between my breasts. I hoped the ceremony would be over soon. I had no idea how long I could endure the pain. “Do you King Arnou, Alpha of the Lycan territory and Lycan of the Merge, take Princess of the Moon Crystal, Former Luna of the Blood Diamond as your wife, mate, High Luna, and Queen of Queens?” “Yes, I do,” Arnou said in a small voice as tears welled up anew in his eyes.

“I’m so stupid for thinking someone like you would ever change. You were cruel then. And you’re even worse than cruel now.” Pain flickered across his face, but then he quickly masked it. Wearing his usual nonchalant demeanor, “You don’t understand—” “I understand everything!” I cut in, “ I understand that you will always choose your power and position over someone like me. Just like every Lycan always does.” My chest felt like air was being ripped out forcefully from my lungs. But I forced my mouth to open, making sure that I made the final decision that was going to change everything.
