The Alpha King's Mistake Blackflame Novels & Stories

The man called. "Beta Raiden Bolton, Princess Charlene Aphelion, Gamma Grayson Sanchez, with his son Gamma Ryan and my younger brother, Rhys." Raiden said clearly. "As you must have heard, Alpha King Andres is dead, Yileyna De’Lacor is our new Alpha and is currently in the hold of Theoden Hale." The man nodded before we heard the grinding of the drawbridge being lowered. My heart lurched as I saw the crossing. Goddess, it was so… narrow, and there were no supports on the sides.

Apha Felix was flabbergasted as he stared at the Alpha king, who was approaching him with Caine tailing behind him. So it all was a plan, he found it ridiculous that the Alpha King stooped too low to Caine's way just to get rid of Damien when he could have done that without wasting any time at all. “It is a pleasant surprise to see you in my pack, Alpha King.” Alpha Felix said with a bow as his heart palpitated. He didn't know, but his instinct told him that something terrible was about to transpire.

From the midst of the enemy ranks, the Alpha King himself emerged, his presence exuding a dark power that made the air around them feel heavy. “Isabella,” the Alpha King called out, his voice dripping with malice. “Hand over the relics, and I might spare your lives.” “Never!” Isabella shouted back, her voice echoing through the clearing. “These relics are the key to your downfall.” The Alpha King laughed, a chilling sound that sent shivers down her spine. “Then you’ve sealed your fate.” With a roar, the Alpha King’s forces charged. Isabella and her ex braced themselves, ready for the onslaught. The first wave of attackers hit like a tidal wave, swords clashing and snarls filling the air.

“My king, it might be better if someone from Sigma or Phi did this; they handle matters of education.” If I order Victoria to teach Delilah, is that crossing a line? I don’t think so. After all, I’m the one with the power. No one can object, and I do this, even if it comes at a high cost. Being Alpha King means overseeing the royal wolves, which consist of Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Deltas, Sigmas, Phis, and Omegas. Betas serve as each Alpha’s right hand and trusted advisor. Kingdom security is usually handled by Gammas and sometimes Deltas.

Kallias chided, “Birds of bad feathers stick together after all. Or should I say...wolves of bad fur pack together?” Just hours ago, Kal was jolly as my date and eager to kick my father’s ass with a visible wide grin on his face. Now, standing in front of the Moonflame Pack council is the reigning Alpha King of the entire country of eternal winter, where some packs do not dare to speak his name—much less learn of it.

************** Unknown POV I can’t believe that little shit has the nerve to go hang out with that damn little boy. I’ve gotta keep them apart before the truth is discovered. Leave it to him to be that observant of the damn Alpha King mark. When I black-mailed that witch for the second time, I made her give my son an identical mark of the Alpha King. That way, no one would question his legitimacy.

“They found us.” He is moving fast, gathering his weapons and dousing the small fire. “We can’t stay here. There’s a path through the ruins. We’ll take it.” Selene rose, her body begging for rest, the mark compelled her forward, throbbing when it sensed the danger. Aurek pushed open the door, and a cold wind swept in, with the scent of wolf fur and iron. Outside, the dawn broke over the blackened forest as riders lined hilltop banners of red and silver. The Alpha King’s hunters, his own men, believed he was bewitched.

Without waiting for a moment, Gia pushes us away from the black wolf who turns his head toward us. I notice his red eyes just as Gia tries to run again. His eyes - A hot glowing red color. Forgetting all my pain, I find myself lost in those glowing red eyes when the realization dawns upon me. He is... He is the Alpha King - Cain Reyes. Only he has a black wolf and those red glowing eyes. I have heard everyone talking about his wolf in the cafe. Shivers of dread run down my spine. Everything clicks in my mind now. Alpha King is going to kill his mate and then make Olivia, his mate.

“They look good on you.” I gave a fake smile. “Thanks. I'll be on my way.” He just nodded. The moment I reached the door, there was a sudden knock causing me to jump. Someone was coming and I needed to hide. Before I could even react, the door had opened and an unfamiliar face walked in and I could instantly tell he was a Beta. “My King.” the beta bowed his head. “Alpha Reid has asked you out for breakfast.” King? Kiinng?! My eyes were popping out instantly as I stared at the stranger in utter shock and confusion . He... this man.. is the King?!!!

I said. Kael let out a sharp, hysterical breath. He glanced down the hallway as if checking for listening devices. "Damon Blackwood isn't just an Alpha," Kael whispered, leaning in slightly. "He is the King of Alphas. He owns half the city. He crushed the Northern Rebellion in three days. They call him the 'Wolf of Death.'" Kael swallowed hard. "I have worked for him for five years. I have seen him kill men for looking at him wrong. I have seen him burn down packs for disrespecting a border treaty."
