She looked like she hadn't slept in days. "Luna, you know Aiden can't do that. We're barely holding him steady in the Alpha position as it is," she snapped, making Aiden's eyes flash with annoyance. *Holding him steady?* What does that even mean? Isn't he already the Alpha?

I laid my hand on top of the water and watched the little ripples bounce off my skin. "Your father..." I trailed off. I didn't know if it was a sensitive subject. I turned and saw his twisted face, a thick crease between his brows. "Never mind, forget I said anything." I laid a hand to his shoulder. He looked at me and sighed. "What's a Luna?" I changed the subject quickly. He tilted his head back up and ran a hand through his damp hair. "An Alpha's mate. It's the female Alpha of a pack." He watched my reaction. I was the Luna, right? Is that possible for a human to be?

Before the boss could answer one of the younger tournament masters stepped forward to answer. “We would do no such thing, Alpha,” he said, “Not one of us wanted our Luna to be hurt.” “Then how do you explain what’s currently happening?!” I said almost shouting now. “Alpha,” the withered old man reached his hand out as he touched my arm while looking at me with his glazed eyes that were filled with guilt and regret. “We would never betray our Alpha let alone our Luna who was the daughter of the Alpha and Luna who sacrificed so much for their people. We don’t really know what’s happening right now but the arena that the Luna is currently on was not made by us, which is why we can’t enter it.”

He asked. "Give me a second to change, I’m just outside though". "Where were you bro?, We tried mind linking you through out yesterday, what's going on? I don't understand what's going on". "What is going on is that our Alpha has found us a Luna and he is too chicken to admit it". Lucien stared at Marcus who walked in through the door and just laid down on the couch with his eyes closed. "Is that good news?" Lucien asked as silence loomed over the house.
