The Alpha General's Substitute Bride

The Alpha General's Substitute Bride

“If I can get the venom off, I still can’t work it in my rickety forge. I need to go up into the mountains to a place where I keep a special furnace.” Archer looked at me, questions in his eyes, but obviously I couldn’t talk about my suspicions in front of this man. “If we can remove the venom from the material…” he started. “I already told you. It’s yours. I’ll make it for you… out of gratitude, and because this shitty realm needs a General with a spine.” He said it, then staggered toward what looked like his room. He came back fast with a crumpled sheet in his hand. “The location of a cave near here is marked. That’s where I hid the armor.” He handed over the roughly scrawled map.

Present. The pack, in turn, began to adapt to his presence. The initial wide-eyed stares softened into cautious nods. A young warrior, struggling to fix a stubborn leather strap on his armor, once glanced his way in frustration. Without a word, the Architect spoke from his corner, his voice flat. "The buckle is misaligned by three degrees. Rotate it counter-clockwise." The warrior, startled, did so. The strap snapped into place. He blinked, then offered a gruff, "Thanks."

Its surface is smooth and pristine, capturing the essence of both elegance and strength. The intricate engravings along the edges depict scenes of valour and heroism, adding a touch of artistry to its formidable presence. As the wearer moves, the armour emits a soft, metallic sound, a reminder of the power it embodies. With each closing distance, it radiates an aura of invincibility, making it clear that beneath the shimmering exterior lies a warrior prepared to face any challenge. Their spirits surged. Their cheers rolled like thunder. And just like that, morale was increased.

It also had a tool that showed how to disable the mech with the least amount of effort. Using these aids saved Ves a lot of effort. Together with his newly gained Mediumweight Armor Optimization I sub-skill, he felt competent enough to start his job as an armorer. Rather than copying Jason's armor contours, Ves decided to remove most of it and start from the bare minimum, only keeping the ingenious ways Jason and his helpers kept the joints protected.

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

she asked softly. Luz’s armoured chest vibrated beneath her hand, the black plates feeling cold and unyielding despite the warmth blooming within him. His crimson gaze fixed on her fingers resting against his breastplate. “Take it off?” his voice was low, laced with a hint of amusement at her casual confidence. “You are asking me to strip in front of you?” The black vein on his neck pulsed visibly as he considered the request. It was not just about removing armour; it was about shedding the monster’s disguise and revealing the vulnerable flesh beneath. “I will warn you,” he said, his thumb stroking along her jawline. “The scars aren’t pretty. This armour hides more than just flesh.” He stepp

Once Rex could see once more, he was standing back in the room with Rector still watching him intently, looking over to where his hand was resting, there was now the golden chest piece sitting over the mannikin, the same one he saw earlier. “I see Vertile has allowed you access to the armour for now” Rector smiled. “She said you had the armour before me,” Rex said, looking at the size of the chest piece, “It seems a little big for me though.” “Yes, Vertile allowed me to don the armour during the Bhutan uprising and the blood war, I fear now she would reject me as its wearer, so I had hoped she would protect you during this battle, she has saved me from death once and I had hoped, should the

Adamantium
This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

My arms held out as a silent Null attendant tightened the straps across my chest. Snap. The buckle dug into my ribs. "Too tight," I gasped. "It needs to be tight," Barzil's voice rumbled from behind me. "Loose gear catches on debris. If you get snagged in the Foundry, you die." He walked around me. Inspecting the fit with a critical eye. He was already fully armored—a mountain of black steel and red cape. He looked terrifying. He looked like the monster the mothers in the Dregs used to frighten their children into silence.

Diana raised her eyebrows and in an irritated voice she asked," So, may I know that important topic?" "Yes," Aarnik replied and got up. ' So, he has thought of the topic in seconds. Bravo man! Just don't let me die so soon. I still have to get a girlfriend.' Marcus mumbled, feeling nervous. "We were discussing the recent incident which happened in the military academy. Some rogues took away two armours from there which were new editions and one of its kind. Now that they have known about our new armour, they'll make it more advanced. So,we have to make more powerful armour and make it unique. So that we can overcome the traitor enemies' attack."

The broken warrior

The broken warrior

Raven POV Nothing else of interest happened to me for the rest of the day. After the talk with Allistar, we just focused on weapons training which is my favorite. I've mastered a few weapons, but my favorite would have to be my katanas. There's just something about a weapon that holds so much grace while being extremely deadly that brings such unbridled joy to me. Penelope's weapon of choice is an axe and I have to say it was hilarious to watch the shock and confusion on Allistar and Dimitri's faces when she used it with such precision. Honestly she is absolutely flawless with her axe and she always holds a huge smile on her face when she uses it. I mean really think about seeing a small she

BLAIR

He only wore a casual shirt under a suit of armour on his torso. Then there was Bran who wore light armour. His hair and eyes were brown in colour while his armour was bright blue. He seemed to be the youngest of the three. “Before that, let me introduce to you. This is Shim Boon, he’s a specialist in herbs and a skilled warrior Hunter. This is Izz, our chef but he’s taking a day off today. He’s also a skillful Hunter. And lastly Bran, which you have already met before.” “Seriously boss? That’s all we get for our intro?” Shim Boon commented.
