Blinded By Love—Literally

Blinded By Love—Literally

The entrance was crowded with people who had come to see my art exhibition. It had always been a childhood dream of mine to hold my own art show. Yet, as I stood in the gallery, surrounded by my artwork, my heart felt empty. I looked disappointedly toward the entrance. The exhibition was about to begin, but Skyler Grant still hadn't come. I opened our messages and reread what he had sent to me last. "Leah isn't feeling well, so I won't be going to your exhibition tomorrow. It's just an art show, anyway. Plus, I don't really get art, so there's no point in me going."

Rebirth Of The Billionarie Ex Wife

Typing. Deleting. Typing again. Until finally, I hit send. > You’re cordially invited to the Vogue & Vision Showcase, hosted in your honor. I won’t speak. I won’t approach you. But I hope you come… for your art, not for me. Raymond peered over my shoulder. “You really sent it?” I nodded silently. A beat passed. Then the screen lit up with three dots typing. And then—nothing. Dots disappeared. A full minute passed.

A Billionaire For Christmas

A Billionaire For Christmas

This showcase was more than just an exhibition—it was my story, my heart laid bare for the world to see. By the time I stepped back and looked around, I felt a mix of pride and exhaustion. The space looked beautiful, alive with my art, and ready for tomorrow’s big day. This is it, I thought to myself, feeling a flutter of nerves. But before I could dwell too long on the anxiety, I glanced at my phone. It was 6:15 PM—just enough time to freshen up before Julian picked me up.

Connie could see through my humor right away though and rolled her eyes as she sat beside me. “You are trying to avoid the conversation,” Connie pointed out, reminding me just how well she knew me. “You went to the art show.” This time, it wasn’t a question. “I was invited,” I said in return, loosening my tie. “It would be rude to say no.” “Why do you keep showing up for her like this? What aren’t you telling me?” “She’s my student,” I said to her through gritted teeth. “I went there to be supportive. Besides, I’m her recent painting so it would have been weird if I didn’t show up.”

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Readers can’t honestly engulf in the story. Although we appreciate the author, only 1 chapter is uploaded PER DAY with a 1-2 minute read. It’s frustrating when you’ve breezed through a book, and are so hype for it, & all of the sudden hit a wall. The stop & go is upsetting not suspenseful. Loses us.

Fallon’s Reid: An Arranged Contract

Fallon’s Reid: An Arranged Contract

“So here I am. Hoodie and bare face and all. A little bruised, a little stiff, but here.” I reached for the mug of tea beside me, then paused to look back into the lens. “Thank you to everyone who checked in. And if you’re going through something—anything—you’re not alone. Even if you feel like no one sees it. I promise, someone does. Someone’s watching you survive. Quietly. Bravely. Just by showing up.” I let the words settle. No edits. No music. Just truth. I whispered the last line. “I missed you.”

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

Ethan sat on the green couch in the September evening with the plant on its shelf and the city doing its usual thing outside and the quality of the moment sitting around him, warm and specific and real. He thought: I stayed for the ending. He thought: and here is what came after. He did not need to prepare. He did not need to run the approach or map the territory or ensure adequate structural preparation. He just needed to show up. That was the whole of it. That was what he had learned, in the end: that showing up was not the beginning of the work but the work itself, and that he was allowed to do it without armor. He watered the plant. He went to bed. He slept eight hours, unbroken, and wok

I moved slowly, dragging my feet just a little longer than necessary, scanning the small parking lot and the row of neighboring doors like I wasn’t doing it on purpose. No Trevor. Probably getting ready for his show. The thought made my stomach do this weird little flip. What does one even wear to an art show? I pulled the flyer out from my purse and studied the address again. I’d already Googled it earlier it was about twenty minutes away. The event started at six. For most of the afternoon, I told myself I wasn’t going. I wasn’t that kind of girl. I didn’t do art shows. I didn’t sip wine while pretending to understand brush strokes or color theory, or just stare at a piece for hours talkin

Her Three Alphas

Her Three Alphas

The grounds held the words. "We are not asking permission to exist," I said. "We are done asking. We are simply existing. Loudly. Together. In a field on a Thursday morning with two hundred and thirty seven people who decided that showing up was the answer." I looked at them and meant what I said next with every part of myself. "And they were right. Showing up is always the answer. It has always been the answer. It is the only answer that has ever actually worked." Silence.

Not Just For Show

He hoped no one could hear how loud his thoughts were. They look like they know what they're doing. I don’t even know what I’m doing here. The insecurity crept in like a whisper behind his ear, but he clenched his fists in his lap to keep his nerves at bay. You came this far, Sky. Just breathe. You’re here for a reason. Finally, the last person arrived. The room, which had been filled with soft chatter and quiet shuffling, momentarily hushed as he stepped in. Tall, with sharp features and the quiet confidence of someone who belonged under a spotlight — the guy didn’t need to speak to command attention. His presence alone said everything.

HEIRESS REBORN

Sasha stands, grabs her tablet, and walks out like she owns the place. I can’t breathe for a second. I just sit there, fists tight, ears burning. I don’t chase her. I don’t beg. She will come crawling. They always do. 9:48 p.m. – Some snobby art gallery downtown I only showed up to remind people I am still in charge. Still relevant. Still a Cross. I make my rounds. Fake smiles. Hollow handshakes. Everyone is polite. Too polite. Like that are just humoring me incase I make a comeback
