Chapter 46 Ashley’s POV I woke up to a faint, delicious aroma drifting through the crack of the guest room door, cutting straight through the heavy, suffocating fog of sleep. For a fleeting second, confusion washed over me. I wasn't in that cold, sterile bedroom where I used to wake up with a knot of dread tightening in my stomach. I was in Syer’s house.

"You're not fit to be my Luna." That's what my mate said before he rejected me for my own best friend. Heartbroken and humiliated, I was sold off as a bride to the most ruthless Alpha alive. Asher hates weakness and I'm wolfless, the weakest omega he's ever seen. He should have sent me away. Instead, he trains me, fights for me, and claims me as his own. God, this woman was driving me crazy. Each moment with her kept confirming what I was trying so hard to deny. I couldn't deny it for much longer. RAVENNA POV A silver wolf stared down at me, her eyes bright. I raised my hand to her nose and she pushed her face into my hand. "You're so beautiful," I whispered. She left my hand and started sniffing down at me, then she moved away from me and bowed her head to me. I felt a warmth spread through my body, from head to toe. I felt that tingling in my chest again. The wolf raised her head and fixed her eyes on me and I felt the stirring within me again.

I sensed the wolves, the heat of their bodies, and their odor… I flexed the muscles in my arms and felt the strength I had never felt before. I felt it moving in my veins and couldn't help but smile. Now I knew why they call it awakening. It felt as if I had been asleep my entire life. Finally, my eyes were wide open. "There she is!" one of the wolves yelled, running my way.

The coffee she ground herself tasted far better, but the aesthetic of Starbucks was hard to resist. Alphonse had booked a hotel for her, so she’d stay there until she found her bearings. She took several selfies and posted them on her somewhat inactive I*******m page, receiving a quick like from Alphonse. Luggage-free, she wandered around, taking in the surroundings. She noticed people lounging about in their wolf forms, and the vampires were dressed in protective clothing, obviously trying to avoid burning in the sun. Suddenly, a warm feeling washed over her for about three seconds, leaving her pleasantly puzzled.

THE AWAKENING. Vivienne’s POV *By Selmara’s bloody fangs! What is this horrible smell?* It smelled like a mixture of damp earth, sweat, and something rotten I couldn’t name. The stench clung to my senses until I could nearly taste it. The sharp, foul odour jolted me awake. I tried to move and pain bloomed across every inch of my body. A deep, bruising ache settled into my limbs, like I’d been trampled by a herd of wild beasts. When I tried to lift my arms, something bit into my wrists.

She sat at the edge and began to hum. At first, the sound was small, barely a breath. Then it grew. Her song carried no words— only feeling. Longing, sorrow, tenderness. The kind of ache that was both wound and balm. The sound drifted through the streets, slipping into cracks and windows, settling in hearts that had long forgotten rhythm. --- The Awakening The first to stir were the children. They woke from dreams they couldn’t remember, tears on their cheeks, Hearts beating faster.

Somewhere above, the pack went about their lives, unaware that in this hole, their Alpha was trying to extract something from a woman who had nothing left to give. "I don't believe you," he said finally. Something stirred in my chest. Something small and fierce and utterly defiant. Move, I commanded my body. Move. Show him. Prove him wrong. My muscles screamed in protest. My bones felt like they were grinding together. The wolfsbane dragged at every thought, every impulse, every desperate attempt to rise. And when our eyes met, I saw it. That flicker. That recognition. That sense of being seen that I had once treasured and now despised.

The Awakening Natalia's POV “Ouch !” I yelled as I woke. This pain at the back of my head made my eyes twisted with intense dizziness. My vision was blurry and my skin was slippery from sweat. As I woke, my consciousness flickered. As I opened my eyes, I looked around, observing the place. Where was I? I asked myself. The room was dimly lit, cold, and uninviting. The walls were of concrete and the air was musty, making it a little difficult to breathe. As I sat on the floor I felt the tightness of the course rope used to secure my hand behind me. I pulled my hand hard, but they won't budge.
