Amy I woke up with a light head. I willed myself not to think anything about Jace so that I can focus on my work. I realized that I had lagged behind on the book I was editing. I poured myself some coffee and sat in front of my laptop. I am surprised when I finish the book before one. I haven't eaten anything sensible since morning. I last ate a decent meal at Jace's house. Ugh... There he goes again. He just can't get out of my mind. I can't stop thinking about him. I miss him now.

I gasped and clutched the blankets, trying not to scream. The door flew open. “Sera.” Kade was already at my side, dropping to his knees. He must have been waiting. Watching. Ready. “It’s starting,” I breathed, voice shaking. “I know, baby. I’ve got you.” He swept me into his arms, holding me like I weighed nothing.
