“She is wolf-less, worse even than omega. How dare she try to marry my son? She must pay for it.” Alpha King was yelled, walking furiously. Hearing these words, Declan stood frozen in the doorway, his heart pounding. His father's words hung heavy in the air, suffocating him. He quickly entered the room. Alpha Logan, his older brother and the Alpha King's right hand, turned to look at him with a hardened expression. The disappointment in his brother's eyes cut Declan deeper than any blade ever could.

What she doesn’t expect is to run into Alpha Jackson, the man who was tasked to kill her on her 18th birthday if she didn’t prove to be a purebred wolf.  The Breeding Selection Ceremony commences and Imani is certain she doesn’t have a wolf. As her “sisters” are dying around her, Imani is shocked when Alpha Jackson spares her life. Not only does he spare her life, but he selects her as his Breeder! Alpha Jackson only kills when he’s 100% certain, but there is something off about Imani and the only way he can get to the bottom of it is if he keeps her close.

Avoir une famille fait ressortir un sentiment indescriptible, que nul ne peut expliquer. Pour ressentir ce plaisir et ce sentiment d'avoir une famille, il faut avant tout en avoir. Alors qu'est-ce qu'une famille ? Elles le savent toutes les deux mais sachant qu'elle ne peut rien changer elle subit simplement. Cherchant à sortir de cette situation qui peut la conduire à la mort, elle décide de tenter sa chance dans plusieurs domaines. Et comme la vie n'est jamais smoothe pour personne, elle aura des choix à faire. Elle tombe dans des histoires louches qui la conduisent sur un chemin inconnu. Elle trouvera une âme qui la fera sortir peu à peu du lot mais pour combien de temps ? Serait-il bon pour elle ? Seule la fin nous le dira.
