I screamed out and used my hands to cover my face when a figure came running towards me. When I opened my eyes, the figure of a large bear was in front of me and before I could scream again, it swinged it's clawed paw towards me and I fell to the floor. Unmoving. Just then, the moon suddenly came out from where it was hiding behind the cloud and I could see what was happening. With unfocused sight, I watched as the King fought the bear in his human form. It wasn't long that the bear fell to the ground with it's heart toasted next to it and it's blood mixing with mine.

Shouts ensue outside the palace and I can feel my own heart pulsating. “Where is that incompetent king?!” Booms a loud voice. “Where is he?! My brother was killed under your watch and you dare to do nothing about it?!” Indeed, it is the Bears. I see Damien put on a brave facade and growl at the huge hunk of a man. There's tension in the air. “You do not speak to the king like that!” Cries an elder with a vicious tongue. The Bear shifter spits in his direction. “He has not been crowned king yet…I can very well snap off his head and take this throne for myself!”

Bella's POV After everyone left I collected my stuff and was about to go out when I was grabbed by my waist and hit a strong yet soft chest. I knew it was Mr King. I could smell his cologne. He was hugging me tightly as he took deep breathe. I was stunned and had no clue on what was happening. When I tried to wiggle out of his embrace, he only held me tighter. "Mr King, let me go."
