Hayden watch the scene in front of him in surprise while kyle quickly button up his shirt. " Let her be " hayden said to the troubled maid and Margret nodded before walking away. Turning his gaze to Joyce he asked " What is the matter ? " " It's Beast clan. The beasts in beast clan has gone crazy, the company is full of blood and... " She couldn't continue as she start sobbing. Hayden didn't reply or blink for a while as he stood still , allowing his paranormal sense to work it's wonder. Firstly he heard the wailing of the humans then growls from many beasts from a distance and finally Isabella's shaky voice.

"You may have caught me off guard, but you'll never defeat the unity of our pack. Hallow City will stand strong against the likes of you." Adam's expression twisted into a sneer, his grip tightening on the knife. "We'll see about that, Beta." As he moved in for the final blow, I closed my eyes, centering myself in the core of my being. In that moment of clarity, a surge of power, unlike anything I'd ever felt before erupted from within me. The air crackled with energy as my eyes snapped open, glowing with an otherworldly light. With a single thought, I transformed into my wolf form with a single attack, I managed to hit him, sending Adam flying backward until he fell on the ground.

Chapter 15 – The Beast and the Fire Jenna’s POV The mansion reeked of blood and smoke. I stood in the hall, trembling, watching Brock’s chest rise and fall, his claws still dripping with crimson. He wasn’t just a man. He wasn’t even just a werewolf. His beast was something more. Before my eyes, his body shifted further — bones cracking, muscles expanding, his jaw elongating, fangs glistening under the moonlight streaming through the shattered roof. The beast recoiled with a shriek that sprayed sparks from the floor. For one glorious second, hope flashed through the room. The red circle stuttered. The beast sank half a foot. Marian screamed as the blood-lock backfired across her arm. Even the hunger’s stolen face lost its smile. Then the floor beneath the second circle cracked wider, and I saw what lay under the creature’s chest.

I paused when my fingers landed on the book I had been previously reading, the one the King had told me specifically to stay away from. Without much thought, I grabbed the book and turned to the chapter I had last stopped on, it was called soulmates to the beast. I read for what felt like hours about what the villagers thought about the beast and I found myself growing more and more afraid, the more and more I read. He had wiped out villages all around the castle in a rampage of anger, he killed thousands of people and left their bodies in the street and only stopped once the sun began to rise again and the sky became painted as red as the blood on his body.

The sight of it stirred something primal within me, a force so ancient and raw that it threatened to consume my very being. I could feel the beast clawing at the edges of my consciousness, its hunger for dominance growing stronger with each passing moment. The rage that had been simmering beneath the surface erupted like a volcano, fueled by the loss of my beta and the eerie silence that enveloped Camille. My hands clenched into fists, nails digging into my palms as I fought against the impending transformation. But it was a battle I knew I could not win. The Beast within me had tasted my rage, and now it demanded control.

Emily’s heart raced, visions flickered: Mira unconscious, bound, magic leeching from her. They raced into the forest with Xavier and Kael. The beast holding me tightens his arms a little further, as he gently lifts his head from where he bit me; I shudder as he glides his tongue over my skin, up my neck, and then looks back into my eyes. He smiles as he leans back, and I wait for him to relax his arms before resuming my struggles. I smile as I manage to escape his grasp, but I don’t get very far and can’t suppress the surprised scream that escapes my lips as he grabs, turns, and slings me over his shoulder. He then quickly makes his way back out of the woods, without pausing until he reaches the village’s centre. I resist, but it doesn’t seem to matter to him because he lets out a very powerful howl, which seems to summon all o

The beast groans, inducing terror in me, wrecking my cool. Why does he seem so curious?

“And it smells… beautiful.” Kaerith’s teeth pressed together as her hands clenched into fists in her lap, forcing a trembling breath out. Even as Rhazien spoke, Kaerith felt something far worse watching from beyond the dark. She felt a pulse. A hunger. It wasn’t Rhazien. It was the other one—the one they called the Beast. His shadow stretched across the chamber as he stood, his armor creaking. “To the court,” he snapped. The Woundmaidens seized Kaerith’s chain and dragged her toward the door, through the twisting tunnels of Murnokh, past rusted gates and bone lanterns.
