The Bee Book Novels & Stories

Stranger to all the others. But not to Lena. "Mr. Crane," she greeted with a warm smile. "Back for more science fiction?" The older man chuckled. "You always remember." "I never forget a face," she said, already heading to the back shelves to find the book he'd asked for. Aria wandered off towards the children's section, which was in a small nook under a staircase. Bean bags, little chairs, and maze-like shelves stacked with books, made it the perfect hiding place. She flipped open one with a dragon on the cover and settled in, humming contentedly to herself.

Beam. "This is the colouring book in Dr. Beam's clinic. You like this, right?" Chery sweetly insisted even if her patience is getting thinner. "No wyk (like), Theo wanth(wants) to thee (see) Mama Bee. Mama Bee buy Theo many many thicker (stickers)" Theo just mumbled softly while playing with the sticker in his hand. The sticker Beam bought for him. They stuck it together in Theo's bag previously but Theo peeled it off earlier and played with it.

The Beast. He was surprised to say the least, that Professor Ridley-Forrester was a young, Asian woman. She was about as intimidating as a butterfly. Had his brother been joking about her reputation? Sure, he’ll admit that the woman possessed great self-defense skills but nothing about her screamed evil bitch. Evan decided to introduce himself. Without another thought, he strolled onto the mat, stopping in front of the petite woman.

The moment the ball struck the hive, a furious swarm of honey bees emerged. An invisible disturbance caused the swarm of honey bees to take flight, causing the air to buzz with haste. The atmosphere was eerie as their combined buzz echoed a warning. They darted with precision, like little hive guards, pursuing anybody who ventured into their uninvited territory. With each bee bearing the responsibility of guarding their queen and nest, the pulsating beat of wings became more intense, and the relentless chase of the buzzing cloud induced a deep terror.

Goddess, I sound so fucking stupid. Inhaling deeply, Bexley sticks her nose close to the flowers and breaths them in, and I feel a twitch low in my body I haven’t felt in years. “Lovely. Thank you. I’m so glad you wanted to see me. I’ve been here for a while now, and we haven’t had a chance to speak.” “I’m sorry. I’ve been very busy,” I lie. “How has it been?” “Wonderful. I’ve been exploring a lot outside, and the library is fascinating. Did you know you have one hundred eighty-three books on zoology?”

The band was formed from tiny diamonds arranged like intertwining flower branches, and at the center sat a smooth, luminous pearl that glowed softly in the sunlight. “Zoe,” he said quietly, “I know you’ve been hurt before, but I want to give you a future that feels safe. Will you marry me?” His voice was low and gentle, his eyes filled with sincerity and hope. I froze for a moment. Then, my vision blurred as tears welled up and spilled over. Nodding through my tears, I whispered, “I will.”

Unfortunately, here was not our pack, so I did not have the option of escaping to our home, so instead, I sat upon a quiet bench in the shade of some beech trees and from here have a perfect spot for people watching. I had noticed the ever so happy beast of a Beta had already made his excuses and left. Seems he was even less sociable than me. You would think, as the Beta, he would be expected to stay for the duration of the party, but it was definitely implied when he spoke to us that he was wanting to get away. And, by that point, the party had been going on for less than an hour. He seemed such a strange character. Not what you would expect for a Beta.

and not murder. The ceremony organized for their welcome was over, and though truly over but everybody now had different feelings about the mysterious, they now see them as a blessing and not what they had been calling them, they are now referred to as, the completed science. It was as if they existed in their own little world, oblivious to the absolutevdiscomfort they are causing me. With a clenched jaw, I watch as she invites him in. My heart pounds crazily in my chest and the sting of jealousy gnaws even more at me from within. Where is this brotha going? I sighed. “I thought it was ‘queen bee’.” Oliver frowned, turning to me with a raised eyebrow. “The queen bee or the queen bitch is the bully of the school. How don’t you know that?” I frowned at the only person I found who was more naïve than Lucas. “I was home-schooled.” He shrugged. “We all were.” Lucas added. “What?!” I exclaimed. “What do you think? That we went to some special school for mafia members?” Thea joked.
