Only a speck of life was left in her body. She stared at herself in horror and in her eyes she could see her reflection. Her eyes were gray and her hair was brown. She was the Badblood girl. She looked in the distance and saw a tall man with unspeakable ugliness. His face was out of this world. He was holding an ax covered with thick crimson blood.

Killian’s P.O.V The grand hall was alive with murmurs and quiet conversations, the air thick with anticipation. But the moment we stepped in, an eerie silence fell over the room, as if the walls themselves held their breath. After I was done peeling the apple, I munched on it and began chatting with her, seemingly nonchalantly, like I was just talking about the weather, while telling her everything that had happened in my past life. Zayn roared as he lunged, but the other twin, Jessica, blurred into motion, her nails elongating into black talons that whistled through the air, forcing Zayn back.
