Romans & histoires The Blind Lycan King And His Queen

Granny said oblivious to what was going on. I could feel sweat trickling down my back and between my breasts. I hoped the ceremony would be over soon. I had no idea how long I could endure the pain. “Do you King Arnou, Alpha of the Lycan territory and Lycan of the Merge, take Princess of the Moon Crystal, Former Luna of the Blood Diamond as your wife, mate, High Luna, and Queen of Queens?” “Yes, I do,” Arnou said in a small voice as tears welled up anew in his eyes.

After a quiet moment, I said, “The King and Queen want to meet you soon. They’re like parents to me — they took Evelina and me in after our parents died. They’d like to see the woman who finally tamed me.” Her brows lifted. “Wait — I thought you were the king.” I chuckled. “No. I’m the Lycan King, ruler of all packs, yes, but the true monarchs are King Edric and Queen Liora. They rule over all territories and alphas. I thought you’d know them — you’re the Beta’s daughter, after all.” She shook her head. “I never paid much attention to werewolf politics. I was always studying, and… I only got Luna a month before my birthday.”

They looked like ordinary hands, pale and small and trembling. "I do not feel like a witch." "Your powers are suppressed. They will return in time." He leaned back in the chair. "The ones who hunted your people were the ancestors of the Lycan King. His family has held the throne for centuries. They are responsible for the death of your people." "Lycan King?" "A tyrant. He rules the seven realms with fear and violence. He turns into a horrendous beast on full moon nights and kills everything in his path. He wants you dead because you are the only one who can break his power."

Alana watches us from her mate Ulric's side, he begins scolding her and I shake my head. "It's ok Ulric, she was only asking, she is just curious not being disrespectful. Yes, my mate Queen Liliana is a lycan, she's also twin sister to Queen Raven of the Bloodwrath Kingdom, and our Goddess of Life. I expect our people to treat her with the utmost respect. My mate King Ryder, is a hybrid, and Alpha of New Moon, he fought for his title and deserves the respect of his kingdom. If I ever hear anyone in my court disrespect or threaten his safety, you will answer to me." I am quick to make sure my advisors understand that my mates aren't to be messed with.

"Miss Eleftheria, things in the kingdom were always misrepresented in those lying books. The queen was a blue-blooded lycan who was forced to reject her first mate, a beast. The moon goddess gave her a second chance with a powerful blood lycan and king of the lycans." I listened with great interest to every word Adeline said, as she seemed to know much more about the history of the kingdom than the books in the library. “The queen and king marked each other, but after years of trying to conceive, she finally succeeded, just two months before the beast leader visited the lycan mansion. Many in the kingdom said the cub was the fruit of her relationship with the king, but the witches knew the t

He took the empty stool beside me. For some reason, talking to him felt easy. Natural. We exchanged jokes. Traded sarcastic remarks. And for the first time all night, I found myself genuinely smiling. The stranger eventually lifted his glass. "Darius." I blinked. "Darius?" "Darius Draven." The name hit me immediately. My eyes widened. Everyone knew that name. The Lycan King. The most powerful Lycan alive. Darius seemed to notice my surprise. "That look never gets old."

“Before somebody says something at dinner and you find out sideways.” He spoke without ceremony, giving me the facts one at a time. Evander Laurent was the Lycan King. The territory I had seen from the car belonged to the royal pack, and his authority extended over the surrounding packs beyond the ranges. Helena ruled beside him as Luna Queen. Ronan commanded the royal warriors, while Adrian owned and managed the medical institution I had seen on the drive. I sat with both hands resting on the blanket. Every one of them was Lycan. I could feel their wolves filling the room, not threatening but impossible to ignore, like the heat from the fire against one side of my face.

He stepped closer instead, his eyes glowing like molten emeralds. “You and your kind deserve no mercy,” he said coldly. “You wolves have been a thorn in the flesh of every lycan. Today, that ends. You found our hideout and cost me two of my brothers. I know your name—and I know exactly what you are. And when I’m done with you, you’ll curse the day you became my mate.” His words froze the air in my lungs. “Take her away!” he commanded. Hands gripped my arms and dragged me backward, my heart hammering as I stared at him in disbelief.

“Your Majesty, you are a guest here. A honoured one, but still a guest. Red Moon matters must be handled with care.” Caleb took one step forward, and the air changed. The lamps along the wall flickered. “I am also the Lycan King,” he said. “And I will say this once where every listening ear can carry it properly. If another wolf touches Alexander Grey, traps him, harms him, or uses rank to corner him, I will treat it as an attack on me.” A sharp breath passed through the wolves watching from nearby corners. Rowan’s face did not change, but Alexander saw his fingers tighten around the edge of his robe.

Kael will betray you. I slowly turned my head to look at him. The Lycan King stood less than an arm's length away, heavy broadsword gripped in his hand, his black fur-lined cloak snapping violently in the icy gales. Cold. Powerful. Merciless. A born ruler. And kings always chose power in the end. Didn't they? The massive black beast down in the snow watched me with glowing, ancient silver eyes. "You heard her, didn't you?"
