## Author's Note Hello everyone, I am incredibly grateful that you have taken the time to delve into my book “Caged by Him.” Your time and attention are invaluable, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks for allowing my story to be a part of your day. Writing this book has been a journey filled with passion, creativity, and a few challenges along the way, and I’m thrilled to share it with you.

The isolation that had once been about survival was now about peace. Raven sat on the porch swing, a laptop balanced on her knees as she worked on the book that had become her passion project. The working title was "Justice Served Cold: A Story of Redemption and Revenge," though she was still debating whether to publish it under her real name or maintain the fiction of Raven Steele.

Oh, that great and tough business tycoon Jairus Ezekiel has a habit of talking in his sleep, blabbering all his secrets out! he pushes it towards me, “It’s merely a book. I want you to open it to a page, any page, and see what you notice.” I give him an uncertain sideways glance before squeezing my eyes shut as I blindly flip through the pages of the book. After a few seconds, I stop, my finger hovering over a page about halfway through. Opening my eyes a crack, I watch as Gideon tilts his head to get a better view of the page. “Interesting,” he murmurs. “Of all the pages in this book, you turn to that one.” I open my eyes the rest of the way and look down. There is a picture of a person sitting in a ring of crystals. I don’t even need to read the title at the top to know what it says.

Her expression dulls a bit, and the twinkle in her eyes becomes unreadble. I feel a bit unnerved by her statement, unsure of what to think or feel. "I think it's safe to say none of the sex in that book is 'just sex.'" "I guess that's true." We sit in a somewhat uncomfortable silence and I don't know what I'm supposed to do. "What were you reading?" She asks. "Some random Sci-Fi novel I found at a garage sale." I hand her the book. The dust jacket wasn't on the book when I picked it up. So it appears plain and uninviting. Just a deep green fabric stretched tight over the boards that bind the book together.

I rested my head on the couch and opened the book. "Antoni and Cleopatra" By-W. Shakespeare. "Hey this is the same book I took from Randhir's library.Ohh God I didn't return it to him."I whispered in irritation. I flipped over few pages but my Heart was getting restless.Reason,yet unknown to me.I glanced at the watch it was only 9:40 pm. Life seems to be very slow first time.I am not a person who likes to watch TV. I turn my music player on.

doing nothing and bored, I was sorting out my secondary school things and found a lot of my stuff. . . . Numerous story plots in different jotters, doodles, real drawings, poems and songs . . . all by me 🤦🏽‍♀️ . . . The Alacrimia (I hadn't forgotten the word) plot caught my eye most and I just knew I had to start writing it. So, I got a new jotter and plotted the book out ( I mostly just plotted out Part the First, but I jotted every other thing down)

He read not of the billion-dollar deals or the media frenzy, but of the calm, scary instant in his former apartment, facing down an eviction notice and a swamped credit card, wondering if his ideals were something

Finally, I satisfied my rumbling stomach, and fell asleep. It was later in the evening that I awoke, stretching and yawning. It was a nice sleep. Pulling off the sleeping cap, I rose and yawned, stretching, before launching into a warm-up exercise. Then my eyes caught the bookshelf. There were books. Did that mean only books by the author were written? I went to the shelf, and pulled out a book, and checked it. It was about the history of the Palace, Magenir, and I was right about the author—MoonCub.
