“I agree wholeheartedly, Your Grace.” * * * * Lindsay stood next to Barry in front of a clergyman as he read out of the Book of Common Prayer. Her grandmother had told her she’d be nervous today, but Lindsay wasn’t. Excitement ran through her veins, and she couldn’t stop smiling. Love blossomed inside of her, and each new day with Barry would only be an adventure, she was certain.

Next week I will have another scan to check the baby’s growth. I wished with all my heart that everything would be fine. After a few minutes, I was leisurely walking down the streets, enjoying the warm sunlight and soft breeze. It felt refreshing. After walking for a while, I had no idea why I ended up slowing down in front of a bookstore. My gaze lingered on the display window for a moment, stopping at one specific book. “Little Bear Loves His Mama the Most.” The title of the book, with its light blue hardcover and beautiful illustrations, made me stare at it for a long time.

I have been reading this old dusty book for about an hour now, I groaned and gave up on the book, I got up and went to go put the book back, but when I was about to put the book in the slot I saw a little door. There was a button on it so I pressed it, it made a little squeak which got everyones attention, they stared at what I was doing, I opened it fully, inisde there was a giant leather book. I pulled it our and read the cover 'Incwadi nezilo'

It was one of the twins. I stood up and opened the door before I saw Becca holding a book and Ruth carrying Everest. “How can I help you girls?” I asked. Becca raised the book; it was a children’s book ‘All Alien needs is a friend’ by Mitsuki Bethan. I smiled as I took the book and stared down at the girls. “Mummy won’t be doing story time soon.” Ruth explained. “Come in. Just give me a moment to shower and change.” I said as they walked in.

The little goblin stood this way, the book held tightly in her hands, her lips moving silently. "Well?" Mike asked after nearly a minute had passed. "Tink doesn't remember." Shoulders slumping, Tink handed the book to Mike. "Maybe husband figure out?" "We'll see." Opening the book, he was surprised to see the words swim across the page, the text fixing itself in place before his eyes. Expecting some profound piece of magic, he realized he was looking at a fairly simple recipe for peanut butter cookies. Flipping back and forth, he saw that the recipe was the same on every page.

Breyona chuckled dryly as she sat beside me on the couch. I ignored the two of them as they began full-scale bickering. My fingers ran against the jagged pages, faded and stained with age. The book itself smelled old and musty, looking as though it would crumble to dust at any moment. The repairs Breyona’s parents had made to the book were all that kept it from falling apart. A grimace formed on my face as I reread the information. ‘Did you expect it to change?’ Maya chuckled humorlessly, ‘It says the same thing as before.’

“With me dressed this way, will that make it easier for you to follow through on our wager?” He grinned. “Definitely.” Georgia hustled in, carrying a tray with three bowls on it. She set the bowls in front of Gabe and Emiline, then one down for herself. “I hope oatmeal is all right.” Emiline nodded. “Yes, it is. I have not tasted oatmeal in such a long time.” Emiline and Gabe were silent as they ate, although Georgia rattled on as she tried to keep the conversation flowing. Gabe kept sneaking glances at the adorable woman next to him, and when she peeked back, he grinned…even if food was still in his mouth.
