Naomi's POV The next morning, the sun broke in through the hospital windows like it had something to prove. It wasn't the gentle light from yesterday's golden hour, but a sharp, unapologetic kind of brightness. The kind that made you squint even with your eyes closed. Still, it wasn't unwelcome. Not today. I wanted to be a little ray of sunshine, and what better way than receiving the bright sunlight that almost blinded my eyes first? Because today was different.

“It has a king-size bed, a sitting area, and an en suite—” “The light, Naomi! Just look at it!” she exclaimed, throwing her hands up dramatically. She pointed at the windows, which faced east. “It gets the morning light, which is gorgeous, but then, the afternoon sun will come in at this angle and that will cast terrible shadows. I will not be editing my portfolio in lighting that makes my color palette look muddy. It’s atrocious. Next.” Deep breath, Naomi. Deep breath. “Right. Atrocious shadows. Got it.”

Selena replied. “What are you talking about? My mansion is fully lightened up and always bright at night," Marcel said and Selena found his words amusing as she chuckled a bit. “Human bulbs and lights only shine; they do not chase the darkness away. Only what burns truly chases the darkness and that's why the Shadows can't come in the daytime. The sun ray is harmful to them," Selena explained and Marcel nodded. “Fine but I am taking them with me as soon as I get the mansion ready," Marcel said and Selena smiled.

Ernesta asked confusedly. Manager and Arian were as surprised as Ernesta, and they did not understand why Liam gave. Maybe because Ernesta Noah's eyes were ugly, he didn't like it. "Disadvantage, with the too strong light environment will reduce vision somewhat." Liam looked directly at Ernesta, reading out the information on her resume. “Did I read it right?” Liam asked coldly. "You read it right." Ernesta also did not want to waive. “So what? What do you mean?"

Parking slot of an old house Alexandra found she was tied up in a dark room. Her eyes could see only dark, not sure if she was blindfolded or it was really nothing but darkness. Actually she was feeling numb all over her body, almost like an unconscious person. She didn't know what was going on. But one thing she knew for sure, she was drugged.

The guardians followed his gaze, and indeed, a dark form seemed to be approaching, its energy clashing with the radiant vibes of the grove. Isolde, her instincts kicking in, said, "We need to intercept, and understand its intentions." Liora, holding out her hand, produced a gentle orb of light. "Let's use this to guide the shadow, lure it closer." The shadow, drawn to Liora's orb, began to take a more defined shape as it neared — a cloaked figure, its face hidden, emanating an aura of chaos and disruption.

I won't stand by and watch as innocent lives are lost. Selene's expression turned dark, and she lunged at Emma with blinding speed, her claws extended.

Unexpectedly, she didn’t react that way, she only sighed and grabbed my hands. “Moonlight Shadows is very complicated and I’m afraid yours would be much more complicated” “What do you mean, Mother?” My brows scrunched up in confusion as I tried to comprehend what she said “What do you feel around Gabriel?” She asked and my eyes widened the size of saucers under her scrutinising gaze. What does she mean? Wouldn’t I be embarrassing myself by telling her these things? What would she think of me? “Do I really have to tell you that, Mother?” I asked, blush creeping onto my face as I felt slightly embarrassed.

Without the light from the front of the bike and no more sun, the moon not up, and no stars overhead, she had no idea what the hell he was talking about. “Do you see that wall of darkness over there that looks different than the rest of the darkness? Trees have leaves that are different shades of dark. They have openings between them that let in some light. There’s a wall of darkness over there that might be the cabin we’ve been looking for.”

Bruce asked. "Hmm... yeah! lights are beautiful. But, I think it's not the lights that make this view so pretty but it is the darkness that is making those beams of lights look so amazing to look at. During the day, when the city is getting blinding light from the sun, it doesn't appear as dazzling as such meager amounts of lights amidst the spread of darkness make it. Isn't it strange?" Mr. Bruce pondered deeply on this. A smirk developed on his lips and he nodded his head slightly looking at her. "You mean to say that it's the scarcity of light in the spread of darkness that makes the night so pretty."
