THE ROYALTY OF WOLFES

THE ROYALTY OF WOLFES

I walk along the beach at night with my candle protected in its glass and wood holder and an urgency burning in my chest. I try to calm myself by humming a song that Mother Darba sang to us when we were little. Something about passing storms and bright mornings. I don't remember the lyrics very well, but the melody is enough to calm me down a little. The water is not far away. I just have to get there and throw the things inside the bundle. The strong wind practically pushes me forward forcing me to hold the candle holder tightly in my hand, even though its dim lighting doesn't make any difference here.

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

They had promised themselves to each other in the flickering glow, the vow sealed with a kiss that tasted of salt spray and absolute certainty. Now, Davidson carried the candle to the great window. He placed it on the wide sill, a small, humble object against the panoramic spectacle of Manhattan. He flicked the lighter. The flame caught a single, brave point of gold in the vastness of the night. It wavered for a moment in the climate-controlled air, then steadied, casting a tiny, warm halo on the glass. He didn't speak. He merely stood and watched that flame, letting the memory wash over him.

Stranger Shore

Stranger Shore

The tawny young girl, kneeling on the stone church floor, carved the candles smooth. The sheared-off drops fell to her lap, trapped in the furrow of rough cloth. As her knife skimmed along the candle's edge, she hummed. And as she hummed, she talked to the odd little creatures that lived in what they called the Candlewood.

Breathe Me

Breathe Me

And the wick on that candle will never be the same again; it will be black, some of it burned away forever. It can be lit again, but after another breath, there’s even less of it than there was before. Over and over again that light would be blown out till there is nothing left. I’m that candle. I’m at the end, and with just one more breath I will be gone. There will be nothing left of me. There’s no coming back after that. I’m alone and I’m on my last breath. But then I look at Blake and he makes me want to try to find that light again.

THE MAFIA'S CHRONICLES: the Dead wife's revenge.

THE MAFIA'S CHRONICLES: the Dead wife's revenge.

The dark hum of the night wind gushed in—a symphony for a life now dark and ruined. About five minutes later, he walked out with a towel hanging from his waist. He strode to his mahogany table and picked up a pack of cigars. Sliding one between his lips, he lit it and leaned against the table, his gaze fixed on Aria. With each breath, he filled his nostrils with smoke until the atmosphere was thick and choking. The only sound was the whirring wind and the burning crackle of his cigar.

Memories Drift Away with the Wind

Memories Drift Away with the Wind

Didn't you give Harper the peach spritzer first? Todd never responded. A few minutes later, the group chat was disbanded. ... A colleague called me back for a nap. I agreed, switching off my phone. On my way back to the office, the wind began to pick up. While waiting at a red light, I suddenly remembered our graduation day, when a fierce gust of wind had blown my cap clean off. Todd had chased it down and gently placed it back on my head. "That moment was stunning," he had said, his eyes filled with warmth. "When we take our wedding photos in the future, we'll swap the cap for a veil. When it flutters in the wind, you'll look beautiful."

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

"I am all ears." "You measure my life in hours and I serve you by expiring. I’m quick when I’m thin and slow when I’m fat. The wind is my enemy. What am I?" Scratching his forehead as he tried to come up with a correct answer. "A- a Candle." The Sea divided the more once again. The frown continue to grow on the lady face. Jorkallun smiled as he saw the sea dividing the more. It seem it only divide once you get the right answer.

Game Over, Mr. CEO: Your Wife Is Done

Game Over, Mr. CEO: Your Wife Is Done

For a moment, it was as if he could see Elsa standing there, smiling at him. His right hand still gripped the detonator. With his left, he picked up the candle package from the ground, unwrapped it, and pressed the candles into the center of the cake. Then he took out the lighter. His hands trembled so badly, and the mountain wind was so strong, that the flame wouldn’t catch. “Let me help,” Winter said. She balanced the cake with one hand and used the other to shield the lighter from the wind. The flame finally caught and lit the candles.

I’m only half way through, but Chris is an absolute narcissistic jerk. If Winter gets back with him it’ll be a disgrace to all women. Please don’t make her weak and pathetic. Zac seems nice or William….but like I said I’m only half way through
