A Few Hundred Poppies

A Few Hundred Poppies

Pursing his lips, unimpressed, he picked Rani off the ground. The cat purred irritatedly as West placed the gun back in the drawer after clicking the safety back on with his teeth. The mattress sunk significantly when he placed the cat on it, indicating that it had indeed grown all too fond of canned tuna. It stretched out its ink black paws to express its hunger with a whiny meow. West scratched the back of his head. Jim would kill him if what Rani had broken was something important - he'd practically begged to take the cat along with them.

The Lucifer's Bride (English Ver.)

The Lucifer's Bride (English Ver.)

“Rather than that — “ Her words stopped when a black cat jumped onto the table that served tea and some sweet and salty snacks. “Goldie!” she shouted, forgetting the noble ethics that she held high. Her focus on the black cat made her forget Abelard, who was staring in horror at the fluffy animal. Abelard looked scared; he retreated step by step to get away from the black cat. However, the cat drew even closer and made Abelard stepped back even more. He didn’t realise that a pond with a depth of five meters was behind him. “Watch out — “ Felen’s cry trying to tell Abelard about the pool behind him, but was too late because he already fell over the barrier and plunged into the pool without ha

The Pack's Emissary

The Pack's Emissary

Old Mer, young Mer. “Old cats, young cats, big cats, small, striped cats, spotted cats, short and tall,” Aislen murmured a childhood poem. “But what is the point of what I’m seeing? It is beautiful, and rather Utopian in a Lost Island in the middle of nowhere sort of way.”

I started reading this series when you were about halfway through The Pack’s Triquetra and I’ve been in love with it ever since. It’s amazingly written and as sad as I will be to see it end, I’m very curious to see the ending :) How often do you post updates?
Ann McDaniel
I have read series-more than once while waiting but have to ask--- why change the covers? The others fit although they could have made Aislen a bit prettier since everyone goes on about how beautiful and Sexy she is she didn't quite fit but all of the new covers are AWFUL! please change!!!!!

How I Catfished my Husband and his Girlfriend

How I Catfished my Husband and his Girlfriend

My name is Sophia Lucci, and this is how I catfished my husband and his supposed girlfriend. We had been married for 24 years. Twenty-four years of what I thought was happy. He got everything he wanted. The house he chose. The truck he loved. The vacations he picked. I made sure life ran smoothly so he never had to question comfort. And apparently, comfort made him bored. That’s how I met Vincent. Not in person. On Tinder. Same smile. Same scar on his chin. Same wedding ring conveniently missing.

Queit Places: A Novella of Cosmic Folk Horror

Queit Places: A Novella of Cosmic Folk Horror

Neither did it have a soul. Sally scolded herself for getting her hopes up. There wasn’t a single living thing in Dunballan with a soul, even the birds and the animals were affected. Sally knew that she was just being foolish. She put the cat back on the ground. It swayed but remained on its feet, then carried on along the cracked paving stones, moving from pure muscle memory. In a few days it would probably be dead.

Rebirth Of The Mistress

Rebirth Of The Mistress

' I asked her 'What saying?' 'That curiosity killed the rat.' I saw her eyebrows meet. I just went in front of her and squatted to get the tray. 'Next time put the tray in the bed.' 'You got it wrong, it's the cat that will get killed not the rat.' she corrected me. 'Thank you for taking my breakfast here.' I just said to her. 'Hey, I said you got it wrong it's the cat, not a rat.' she said

The Neighbor’s Cat Destroyed His Lies

The Neighbor’s Cat Destroyed His Lies

“You’re both pathetic and stupid. You came here to provoke me just to force me into divorcing Julian quickly so you can take my place? “Too bad, once you’re in my position, all you’ll inherit is a mountain of debt. You’ll get nothing else. “Remember that Ragdoll cat? Your fate will be far worse.” Ivy must have seen that Ragdoll cat. Starving, it had begged for food at my doorstep, only to be shut out. Forced to fight other strays for scraps, it had returned covered in wounds. No words could describe the tragedy. Perhaps witnessing the Ragdoll cat’s fate triggered Ivy. She lunged at me, teeth bared, lashing out. “You’re the unwanted one. You’re the worthless waste of space who is about to be

LIGHTNING THE ASSASSIN

LIGHTNING THE ASSASSIN

Few minutes of seating down to eat he was up again heading for the door. Cat who has yet to begin her meal was not happy with the quick disposal of his meal. " What did he do? pour the food down his bloody throat, " she hissed sarcastically as they too stood from their table to follow the target out, making Poison chuckle lightly. " Guess his life is pretty straightforward. Home, work eat, and then home, " Poison muttered as they sat in the car and watched Hill turn in for the night. " What now? " Cat asked staring towards Hill building.

THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

THE APPLE'S OF HIS EYE

Her words struck me with a chilling realization - the food was tainted, poisoned. I followed her gaze to the lifeless body of the cat lying motionless on the floor. It was a grim sight, a stark reminder of the danger that lurked within the walls of this grand mansion. The cat had fallen victim to the poisoned food, a tragic consequence of its unsuspecting indulgence. As Abebi spoke, pointing out the connection between the cat's death and the contaminated food, my mind raced with a mix of shock and anger. How could someone dare to poison us within the safety of Ermes' residence? It was a brazen act, a clear message of hostility.

Irreplaceable Canary

He didn't want that to happen as he started shouting " she....she is the singer Sera the 'canary'" the man told Daniel while he was stuttering. He caught everyone's attention. After looking closely everyone recognised her and they started gasping and talking but Daniel interrupted their nonsense. He didn't have time to listen to music so he wasn't up to date about the new singers.
