Lila’s chest ached as she tried to catch her breath. “Tell me what’s going on,” she demanded, gripping his arm. “You knew. He picks up the scroll, unfolds it lid, and folded it back when he realised the scroll was a map, and after he searched for the marked region before folding the map. And slowly the form of a huge book was created. Larger than any building in the city. Smooth. Living. Old. Very old. There was no title on the cover. No writing. Just a symbol. A circle. The same circle Mara had already seen on the map. The same circle engraved on the gully lid. The same circle that has always been shown since its arrival. “What does the symbol mean?” she asked. I read that riddle though I am not sure of what it really means. Mysteries? Clarity? Eternity? Who is this book even referring to in the first place? I then turn it to the next page and saw a weird circular thing drawn into it. A… Spell? Maybe a magic circle? I look at my surroundings and saw no posible paper for me to draw. How I regret not bringing my things. What I have in me is but a piece of pen for me to write. I didn't even think of bringing my paper notes with me since I didn't planned to stay in this shelf in the first place.
